I've had a pretty easy pregnancy so far, but my husband's calm, patient, and humorous personality have kept me calm and patient and laughing, too! We had a tough time getting pregnant and he was nothing short of positive and reassuring, and now that we are on this journey, I couldn't ask for a better person to do this with!
I'm pretty stubborn so I hate asking for help or giving up things I'm used to doing, and he's been great at just quietly taking over so I don't have to admit defeat and ask for help. I also love that at night, he helps pull me up from the couch after I've fallen asleep there and when I get to the bedroom, I see the bed has been turned down, my water and phone are already by my bed, and my contact lens case is out and ready to go. It's just the little things like that that he does to make my (our!) lives easier that I appreciate.
Awww. You guys! Now I'm teary thinking about him. Excuse me while I go wake him up with a hug while crying! (That ought to confuse the poor guy.)
After spending the last two days in our classrooms helping each other set up, DH is rubbing my huge swollen feet with lotion. He hates touching lotion, the poor thing.
