  • I say enjoy it!! You'll be making yourself very useful very soon :P

  • I no just hard cause there's so much to do before small man gets here and can't get myself to do anything
  • I'm 39weeks also and all I did was lay around yesterday. Today I had to force myself to get up and get out the house. It doesn't help that I feel so crampy and every time the baby moves I feel lots of pain and pressure. I just wish he would make his grand entrance into the world already....
  • I took leave from work at 39w2d because I was way to exhausted. I'm now 40w6d and have spent the last week and 1/2 relaxing until the little guy gets here...
  • Same here. I'm only 37 weeks, but a few times after work last week, I feel asleep on the couch and slept through dinner time.

  • Omg yes but my dad is here working on our house so I have this guilt hanging over my head about not working. I am 39+3 and solo drained and no.. I definitely didn't want to wake up at 8:30. Pregnansomnia is real for me and once I get to sleep I sleep for like 12 hours but don't get tired til 3 a.m.

Almost 39 weeks, and I just stopped working yesterday.... same deal. We are pretty much set up, but it would be nice to have the pack n play put away, clothes folded, etc... just don't have the energy. Maybe tomorrow

Take Advantage! I only took half advantage for it and now after delivery I thin it was my body telling me the delivery was going to totally drain me.
  • I think I am driving my husband nuts because I am so exhausted and don't care that nothing is clean in the house. Baby comes on Saturday so I figure I will have more energy next week, the cleaning will still be there!
  • I agree with PP. Get the rest while you can. I was always tired in my last trimester but felt guilty about it because nothing was getting done. But looking back now, I would've spent that time relaxing and sleeping.
  • I wish I had this issue. My husband is working and I have to take care of our toddler. Most of the time I just want to sleep. I'm so exhausted. Today j didn't eat in time and I was shaking so bad I was dropping things. And then my daughter woke up. So no rest to recover. It's ok. Keeps me fit to get use to my twins coming and taking care of the toddler at the same time.
