Getting induced with tablet

Hii , tomorrow ill be 40 weeks , and 2 days im supposed to be getting induced in the morning . I was just wonder if anyone has got induced with getting a tablet put in them . I dont know the name or i guess i didnt hear it when my ob was telling me about it. Of course she said it doesnt always work . I was just curious if it worked for any of you or how it went .

    I had the tablet misoprostol. Worked great for me. Had two rounds of cervidil in the 24 hours prior with no progress. Got the miso and was dilated 3cm after they checked 4 hrs after placement. Good luck!

    Miso. Yes and it worked wonderfully. One pill, 4 hours later my water broke and threw me into labor, no other induction drugs needed.

    I had Cervadil and then 1 dose of Cytotec, and my body's own labor took over what they started, and I was able to go through the rest of my labor on my own with no meds. So it worked for me! Good luck to you!

    I had 3 doses of cytotech and softened completely. Started pitocin 12 hours later and got to 3 cm after 2 hours. Dr came and broke my water because nothing was happening after 2 hours. I had a c section 4 hours after having my water broken because I got stuck at 4 cm. I went in not dilated at all though and even though baby girl had been dropped since 32 weeks she all of a sudden decided to come back up in my ribs. C section went great and I was up walking around 8 hours after and only taking one ibuprofen 600 a day. Not trying to discourage you just preparing you. I went in knowing a c section was a possibility and my fiance still cried his eyes out because he was afraid of losing me. Which of course made me cry lol. But baby and I are home now and doing great. Good luck!
