Thankful Thursday

I've been reflecting on this past week and despite some Monday bitchiness and dealing with twatwaffles on Tuesday, this week has been pretty good. I would like to share that I'm incredibly grateful for my husband, my mother and father in law, the improvement of my father's health, and for being able to feel my little bambino kick!

I am thankful that at my anatomy scan on 7/9 we found out our LO's SUA/two-vessel cord is isolated and NOT associated with a birth defect or chromosomal abnormality.
I'm also thankful my mother is finally seeming to be excited she is having her first grandchild.

I'm so thankful that we heard a strong heartbeat yesterday and that our (2nd) c section date can be right after Christmas so it can enjoy it with my family! Im also thankful my DH cooks and every smell isn't making me run upstairs to vomit anymore

I am thankful that my mother gifted us the stroller I had my heart set on and I am thankful that it's my boyfriend that gets up at 5am to go to work and I get to go back to sleep after making his lunch.

I do love Thankful Thursdays.

I'm thankful for my yummy caramel macchiato I'm sipping right now.

But more importantly, I'm thankful that i get to come home after working a few extra hours and hear little feet running to meet me and yell Mammy mammy and give me the tightest hug. And for the fact that my hubby is not such a bad hugger either

I can't wait for our family to grow.

I'm thankful for my DH. He's been working his tail off and even overtime because he wants to have a comfortable cushion/safety net in the bank before baby comes. I appreciate him beyond words.

I'm thankful for my mother. She's so supportive in everything I do. Plus whenever we do anything she insists on taking me out to lunch lol. And she watches me dog for me. She's pretty much the best.

I'm thankful I can now feel LO moving. All I can do is smile when I feel flutters and somersaults going on in there. Pregnancy is truly a miracle.

Love this! I am so thankful that I have had a few days where I have felt like myself. Plus I had a great appointment on Monday where I met my OB (who I absolutely LOVE!) and heard my active little baby's heartbeat. I'm also thankful for my super supportive mom who pulled over on the side of the road to get a picture of a "bump ahead" sign because I mentioned casually that I thought those were really cute.

lots to be thankful for this week! Plus tomorrow I get a whole day of pampering (thanks to DH). Massage, mani/pedi, facial. Sounds like heaven!

I'm so thankful to finally be having a successful pregnancy!
I'm also extremely thankful for DH who would rather do everything around the house than see me strain myself. I'm also thankful he let's me stay home to "incubate" and not stress out working. It's been amazing to just take naps whenever I need to along with our fur babies.
I'm thankful we have our 16w appt tomorrow to hear heartbeats. Without being able to feel them moving around yet, I've been getting a little nervous something may be wrong.
Lastly, I'm thankful for our BMB, especially the "mean girls". I wasn't too sure about being an active member or even being a lurker on this site but all you amazing ladies sucked me in!

I'm thankful for having a day off of work yesterday and spending it with DH and DS - it was so nice to spend quality time together as a family - with DS's crazy work schedule, it doesn't happen often!

I'm thankful that after so many lazy days at home, I am actually going to lunch with some friends today. Social interaction! (Well, besides the interaction with my fellow bumpers)

I'm also thankful that my anatomy scan is coming Monday! I can't wait to see my little growing miracle.

I'm thankful for my awesome, amazing husband who comes home and will talk to my belly. We have no idea what we are having yet (next few weeks) but I LOVE that he will come home and say "hi Hunter, it's daddy. were you nice to your mom today" I love it, makes my heart very happy.

I'm also VERY thankful for my job, there have been LOTS of changes around here and I am happy that I was not part of the major layoffs

So thankful for my DH who has been nothing but supportive, our families who are so excited for us, and our new puppy Indiana! Also thankful for my health. I have had an uneventful pregnancy so far with very little nausea, no vomiting, and hardly any discomfort. My heart goes out to all the ladies on here who have been ill.

Last but not least, I am thankful we have the financial resources that I can be a SAHM.

I'm mostly repeating everyone else, but I'm thankful for my amazing husband, my cuddly little puppy, the somersaults and kicks that started this week, and our mailman for attempting to work with us to get the dog to chill the f out whenever he steps foot on our property.

I'm thankful for my amazing pregnancy so far! Only thing I've been battling is constipation which doesn't even come close to what some of you other ladies are up against.

I'm also very thankful for the most amazing husband in the world. He's so understanding (more then I could be). He deals with my craziness and complaints with so much grace. I'm not even sure he's human!

I find out what our little amazing baby is in 11 days and 21 hours. I couldn't be more thankful and excited for that!

I use to LOVE hot pockets. So so much , is it weird that I won't allow myself to eat them now, but every once in a while I'll eat bagel bites? Bagel makes it healthier right??

And on a more serious note, I have a ton to be thankful for. I have an amazing husband who goes to every appointment with me, a beautiful healthy daughter, a baby that I can finally feel kicking up a storm, and so much more.
One thing I am super duper thankful for every day is that I don't have to work during this pregnancy. I'm a SAHM and even though the first trimester was rough with trying to continue being a fun mom for my kiddo, it was nothing compared to having to go to a job and deal with other people.

Thankful that my daddy didn't have another stroke and he is recovering from his bacterial infection, and that DS is his usual wacky wild self instead of the back-to-back sick toddler he was at the beginning of this year.

Thankful for my parents. All the big and little things they still do for me and how supportive they are. I hope I can be half as great a parent as they were to me.

My husband. I give him a lot of crap for always having to work but he is such a hard worker and when he gets home he never complains. Very luck to have him.

Grateful for BABY! I can't believe she's healthy and still here with me and I just want the rest of my pregnancy to go well.

Even though he's kept me up all week because he's sick, he's still so amazing!! In Twatwaffle Tuesday I told the story of my SiL who sent away her frenchie when she decided she was too tired of making excuses for not caring for the dog SO entrusted to her a few years ago. She claimed it was a very hard decision, but not even a month later is boasting on Facebook about all the kittens she is thinking about adopting. I called her out for her bullshit, only to receive radio silence from her and MiL. I have been anxious for the blowback that I felt could come any second, with Facebook being the way it is, but I logged on this morning to find that SO had liked my comments calling her out. And that seemingly insignificant show of support just shows me that he and I are a team no matter what menial fight his sis and mom try to stir.

@Marchmellow2, your DS is absolutely adorable!

I share the same sentiments with DD. She just turned 2 this Monday, and I'm so thankful for her health and continued growth. She amazes me each day and I still can't believe someone actually entrusted me to be her mama. This toddler age is such a roller coaster of big emotions for them. It's exhausting, but so worth it. Especially when I get rewarded with kisses and hugs that I don't have to tackle her for.

River is 20 months old. He will be 2 yo on Halloween day!

I am thankful for my amazing boyfriend. He has been so supportive and looked after me. We are going through a lot with moving house and my grandmother being sick, I am so lucky to have him and can't wait for us to start being a little family xx

I'm thankful that after a minor car accident yesterday and 5 hours in the ER we got to see that LO was okay and she even waved at us (:
I'm thankful for this long babymoon we are on visiting my family and my friends after not seeing them for 2 years. I'm thankful for the baby shower they are planning for me this Sunday and I'm thankful that the airline will let me check in extra luggage to bring back all the lovely details and fill our home with love from my side (:

I'm thankful for my husband and family and all that jazz. But after reading some of the posts about dealing with people making comments or asking inappropriate questions - I'm really thankful that I work in a department where people, if they make a comment, only make helpful comments and that I have colleagues willing to go pick up furniture for us in their SUVs.

I'm thankful for my husband and all of the little things he does every day to take care of me and the munchkin; he didn't know how he felt about kids and it's been so awesome to see him get excited now that we're having a baby.

This week, I'm also especially thankful for all of you. Between the threads offering advice and support to the funny ones that make me laugh and take pregnancy just a little less seriously, it's like you all know exactly what I need. Thanks, ladies!

I am thankful for my kids! It's my job to take care of them, but this summer it's more like they've been taking care of me. HG has been rough- but they've been (mostly) super happy to help around the house, especially with meal preparation.

I am thankful for my husband. He hasn't been around much due to work, but when he is here he always willing to help me get things done. Plus he cuddles with me and rubs my back even though most of the time I feel too crappy to want to have sex.

And finally I am thankful for my friends. I've cancelled on several people multiple times because of HG. They've been so understanding, have continued to invite me to things just in case I do feel better, and have even brought meals for my family.

I'm thankful to be in my second trimester where I can enjoy my pregnancy that much more. I'm thankful that so far me and my little are both healthy and happy.

I'm thankful that Dh and I were able to sign paperwork to close on a house tomorrow!! I'm thankful that Dh is able and willing to enlist friends to move us so I don't have to worry about the heavy lifting.

I'm thankful that we have our anatomy scan tomorrow and hubby doesn't go back to work until Monday so he can be there!

I am thankful for my amazing husband and wonderful best friend. I have been in a funk all week and my husband has been so understanding and helpful. Without the two of them I would have been an absolute mess the past three days.

I'm also so thankful for the beautiful day we had today. 77 degrees with low humidity. Was able to go to the beach and just sit there and read a good book.

I am so very thankful that when we gained the courage to finally tell DHs parents about our beautiful surprise pregnancy yesterday, they took it so much better than we expected.
We're both young newlyweds, and they told us from the day we got married that they didn't want us having kids for at least a couple years.
However, it was a delightful surprise to find how excited they were when the situation actually occured.
