Pregancy WTF Moments.....

Hey ladies. I've been super busy with work and travel and have had a ton of pregnancy WTF moments lately. Thought maybe it could be fun to start a thread of sharing your ridiculous pregnancy-related "are you kidding me" experiences whether due to pregnancy brain or hormones....here's a few of mine:

- I cried during the movie Little Miss Sunshine when the little girl found out she earned a spot in the Little Miss Sunshine pageant. I mean, I literally started balling my eyes out, like sobbing.

- I'm currently in Oslo, Norway for work with my fiance and left my purse at a coffee shop, outside, on the ground, filled with all my cash, IDs, phone, glasses, etc. LUCKILY it was there when we went back. (mind you, my fiance had to run up three blocks while I pouted on the street corner feeling like a confused, pregnant, oaf)

- I'm traveling through some of the coldest parts of Europe and didn't bring a JACKET

- Since the baby is growing happily atop my bladder, everytime I sneeze, cough, or laugh while needing to pee (which is every 45 minutes), I pee a little. At 14 weeks. What!!!!!! Cheers!!

Pregnancy Brain has gotten the best of me. Not once but twice I've managed to not put underwear on while getting ready for work 8-} . Went to Kroger and walked around for 15 mins before calling my husband asking what I was there for. Last but not least went to Kroger again with my big ol purse in tow and some how decided my wallet would be better left in the shopping cart, thank god for a lil old lady who saw it and returned it to the front desk. I work for the government so losing my gov id would cause me all kinds of drama..

I decided to clean out my fridge and pulled the trashcan up to it, then for some reason walked away. I came back into the kitchen about 30 min later realizing that I'd left the fridge door open.....

Also, I'm over 14 weeks and the other day my hubs was driving home and I was feeling sick, even though I barely made it to our house, I didn't make it all the way inside and threw up on our front lawn....classy.

@BabyRut2015 I have you beat... I puked all over my moms car last week, seconds before she was able to get to the shoulder. She then proceeded to wipe my face with my nieces Boogie Wipes while I sobbed.

I'm super paranoid that coworkers and family are on to me (we aren't telling til 16 weeks or later if we can). I've started strategically placing stuff in front of my stomach in hopes to hide my blump. I'm totally going to be that sitcom character carrying the plant around. Yes, I know I'm being ridiculous, but people start acting weird when they know you're pregnant and I'm dreading it!

*crying so hard because one of our dogs will die before the other. They are only three years old and very healthy.

My minion at work took the whole week off last week because she wasn't feeling well 'aka' a cold. Then she asks if she could leave at 3pm yesterday and rocks up at 9:45 this morning. WTF!!!?? I'm so behind with my work because I'm busy doing hers! I can't wait to tell work I'm pregnant at 16wks so they can all bloody stop staying at home for nothing whilst this prego mama does their work : (

Oh and I haven't take one day of sick leave since I joined this company and everyone else seems to be managing their quota of sick leave. Hate this over inflated sense of responsibility I have!

- I caught myself placing our ice cube tray in the oven instead of my sons chicken nuggets. LUCKILY before I placed the plastic ice cube tray on the oven shelf.

- I burst out crying when I found out one of my friends (and DH's best friend since middle school wife) called me today to tell me she just found out she's due in March/April!

- I folded laundry, but instead of putting it all away I brought it all back down to the basement, put it in the washer and started it before bringing the empty laundry basket upstairs to put all those clean clothes away.

- I forgot how to drive to my parents house. They live in the house I grew up in, a whole 3 miles from my house.

Went to make burritos last night made up the meat and beans and then put the pots and pans in the sink (water running) with the food still in them :-/ had to order pizza

I cried the most fat/ridiculous/not stoppable tears when we took our kids to go see Inside/Out. Everyone told me that it was good and I would get the feels, but I cried at the Pixar Short, BEFORE the movie even started. *sigh*

Also, wtf drool?! Really? I keep accidentally drooling on myself, like the bottom half of my mouth doesn't even have a job anymore. My husband is like, "haaaaawt". -_- He is a hilarious man....

Every morning I'm still vomiting and somehow at how far along I am, I pee myself just trying to vomit. What the eff body! Also I never knew how happy a slurpee could make me yesterday at target.

Pre-pregnancy I was about 80% healthy/clean/organic eater. I would have my cheats, but within reason.. Definitely stayed away from unnecessary chemicals in food.

These foods have been my "go to" foods that always stay down.. WTF
First 4 weeks of pregnancy: Frozen bean burritos (the cheap kind)
Week 12: Taco Bell
Week 13-now: McDonald's

I always put on at least a little makeup when I go out.. We were halfway to town and I realized I forgot to do anything with my face. (Seems really stupid but that is something I just don't forget.)

I sat, holding my puke bucket, in tears as I explained to my husband that I most definitely was NOT going in anywhere looking "like this".. Until we got to my favorite Mexican Restaurant.

I feel your pain! I have just always tried to make most our meals at home, and homemade, not frozen or boxed or canned etc.... Now I just want pizza rolls and fries and chicken pickle sandwiches from Wendy's?! The worst part is even if I wanted to make food and eat normal, I can't stand long enough to do it anymore! I get light headed and nauseous when I stand for even 5-10 minutes, I just don't have the energy ... Good thing I work in a cubicle.

Seriously yes McDonald's!!!! Sooo good and stays down and my fave is super salty fries and a sweet coke! Omg heaven!

Last night in bed I didn't feel good but I couldn't exactly explain what was hurting/bugging me so my husband told me to turn over and he'd give me a back rub. He lifted the comforter and I let out the biggest fart! Felt pretty good afterwards but he was so shocked/disgusted (he's not usually, it was just that big) that I got the giggles for 5 minutes that turned into crying because I was so embarrassed. :-/

@hailees all of those foods!!! Yum!! I have always had a thing for frozen burritos for some odd reason. I had mcd's twice in the past couple of weeks and it was perfect!! Just today I was craving some Taco Bell!! I'm starving now!

- A while back I threw dirty socks in the toilet. Instead of hamper.

- Went to Lowes and walked the entire store… and could not remember why I was there. I remembered when I got home.

- I am also drooling on all the things. It's really great when it happens in public.

- And, I don't remember what else I was going to say.

-So clumsy, which isn't too far off of my normal haha
-I find my self tearing up during random commercials or trashy tv.
-Pregnancy brain is starting to set in too. I was on the phone with my insurance yesterday and they asked for my SSN for verification. I totally blanked. I was like uhh it starts with a 5.... I had to hang up, go look and my card and call back. Talk about embarrassing haha

I'm laughing so hard at all of these!

- I went to work the other day and completely forgot to put on make up.

- I can't not pee while I'm throwing up nor can I ever make it to the toilet. I always end up throwing up on the sink or floor.

- I cry over everything. I'll be watching Americas Got Talent and someone will sing and I'll like it and so I will cry.

I also want to add on that I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's been eating so much fast food. I LOVE Taco Bell and I also LOVE McDonald's French fries. They're so salty and glorious!

I'm dying laughing! Thank you I needed this. My "baby brain" is so bad these days my husband asked when "he's gonna get his wife back". Everyday it's something.

Today's moment: I drove all the way home (35min) and when I got home my tailgate was still down.

The worst is when my husband reminds me about things I yell because "I'm not an idiot"

I don't ever yell.

- I lost my cell phone (while it was silenced of course) and I ran around the house for thirty minutes looking for it and finally laid on the floor and cried (like giant sobbing drama-tears) and eventually found it in the pantry and cried again

- I was cooking and the oven timer went off. I needed a pot holder from the drawer on the other side of the kitchen... so I walked out of the kitchen through the living room past the laundry room, spare bedroom, bathroom, my bedroom, the nursery, and opened the linen closet. I looked around, got really confused and walked back and say down on the couch. THEN I had an epiphany, thankfully before the food burned.

- I forgot my area code when giving my phone number to the furniture store last week when we bought a new couch

- Drool, drool, drool.....

The other night I went downstairs to get an extra roll of toilet paper for the upstairs bathroom...and proceeded to put the toilet paper roll into the fridge for a good 5 seconds before realizing what I just did. I guess pregnancy brain is a real thing.

I also second (third, fourth, etc.) the ladies who ate normal food before pregnancy and now are obsessed with McDs. In fact, now that you've got me thinking about it, I may ask the hubs to bring me home a Big Mac and fries for dinner. #NoShame

Follow-up: Called hubs and asked for a Big Mac on his way home and he informed me that he misplaced his wallet for the 2nd time in 24 hours, so now I have to either go myself or wait until he gets back and go with him. Normal me would have been understanding. Pregnant me cried.

@hailees There's a 24/7 drivethru literally down the block from us, but I've been feeling so mreh today the idea of putting on underwear and moving, blech...husband just popped his head in the door, grabbed his wallet, and went back out to grab my burger without a complaint. I officially just fell in love all over again.

@jrouge12 I'm obsessed with their Chicken Tender Selects right now, it's the only thing I'll get there other than Big Macs...the funny thing is that the idea of any form of meat that isn't processed McDs makes me nauseous right now. A couple months ago it would have been the other way around!

With my last pregnancy, instead of saying "it's really windy out today," I said "it's really blowy out today." With this pregnancy I've thrown folded laundry in the garbage and put the garbage in the fridge...???
