Does the back pain go away?

This last trimester has been really tough on my back. If I sit for 2 minutes or 2 hours I feel stiff and like I can't stand up. Please tell me this goes away. I can't imagine having this pain with a newborn. Ugghh

    Yes. I sleep so much better with a new born than I did pregnant.
    Of course there is a whole nother set of pain after delivery to deal with...
    Stitches, swelling, engourgement....

    I would agree with @corndogrobot that the pain definitely goes away, but you're handed another set of pain (but it's just temporary while you heal). My back is pretty sore (delivered Monday, still in the hospital), but it's a different sore... Plus the little one is here, which is a great distraction!
