OK… So I ate my piece of tiramisu cheesecake (DH got home early tonight so he and I just shared it, but he only took a bite.)
In all honesty, it wasn't that good! We still have leftovers.
What I really want is a piece of tiramisu from Serafina. It's this restaurant chain in New York that is privately owned and they've opened up their first location in Boston. They also have Black truffle fettuccine. I can eat that right? (and I don't feel like jumping onto @redfallon's post to ask if there's more than 200 mg of caffeine in tiramisu!) because I'm a special snowflake and it won't affect me.
Note to self – stop spending so much money on food. Must say for family.
I have so NOT been great about caffeine. I cut it out completely (I think. I tried anyway.) in the beginning and started getting migraines. So now I have one or two servings most days because my paperwork from the doctor said the daily intake allowed was about equal to two cups of coffee.
What's a serving, you may ask? No freaking clue. I'll have a glass of iced tea. Maybe a cup of regular tea. Chocolate doesn't count.
This may be heaven sent or gross but... They have cheescake sold on slices ( 2 per box ) at Ralph's . It's no Cheesecake Factory but it's available almost all day /night and it's beautiful . I'm heading there now .
Can I just say this thread has made my entire night? I have been stressing today because I had a huge job interview for a promotion that involved two panels (of coworkers bc I am an internal candidate) and I needed something to distract me. So thank you ladies! I'm glad I've finally decided to become more active on the board-it definitely is a "get what you give" situation.

@mtownhespes i've also been having migraines… So I'm taking medication with 50 mg of caffeine. I'm not a big coffee drinker though. Just felt the urge for tiramisu. I loved your gif

Wait… Now I can't figure out what to have for dinner. Basically sky is the limit because I can get delivery from literally anywhere. I can get anything delivered at all. Authentic Mexican sounds good but we had it night before last.
I was thinking maybe Cheesecake Factory? I sort of want to have an Asian chicken salad, but then part of me will want to have pasta.

I am jealous @BostonBaby1...the only thing we can have delivered is pizza around here! That would make big city living worth on some of those days I can't bring myself to cook....and I'd probably spend way too much eating out....and my waist line would be larger....But so many options are music to this pregnant lady's ears!!
My post-labor, at-the-hospital must-have is sushi. I know, I'm probably not supposed to have it still if I'm nursing. Let a woman and her salmon roll live.
Also, I've been awake since before 5 AM because I had to pee, and now baby is doing a morning Zumba routine in there and I can't fall back to sleep. I'm the lightest sleeper on Earth, so I'm going to have a long 20 weeks left if she's already keeping me up!

I've been searching for a place to boast about the kickass dinner I made last night (soon to be my lunch) and I've decided this is the place. First time I ever made a roast beef dinner and it was glorious! And of course the half a tub a reeses ice cream I ate after finished it off nicely.
@kyleneum13 where in Thailand were you? I lived there for a few months at a wildlife refuge in Phetchaburi! Miss it so much, can't wait to go back some day!

I lived in Ayuttaya for the first three months (with a Thai family) and then moved to Kanchanaburi for the remainder of my time. I got a chance to travel to quite a few other areas as well. It's such a beautiful country. DH and I are considering moving there for a year or two in the future. I have a connection to teach in an international school so once LO is old enough to potentially spend a year or two in school over there we're definitely considering it. It would be a dream!
I'm planning on making pies Friday and cannot decide what 2 to make! One I will take on my weekend getaway with my mother, brother and his family, the other will be left home with DH, who unfortunately has to stay home, and for me to enjoy when I get back. We have a raspberry bush but I don't like them, however DH LOVES them. So do I make a whole pie just for him?
