Crazy dream!!!

At bedtime my little nugget likes to lay really low to the point where if I'm laying on my back you can see the bulge of where she is, I generally sleep on my side with one hand cradling my tummy, went to sleep like this last night and she was pushing against my hand then I dreamt a little baby hand pushed out and held onto my finger. This is the wildest dream I've had so far, DH thinks it's gross, I find it cute and comforting. Any of you ladies had weird baby dreams?

I love reading these. There are other threads that have some pretty crazy ones as well!

Over the weekend I had a dream that I was driving down a road in my hometown that has nothing but cornfields and random farm houses for miles. Every mile or so there was a baby abandoned in a stroller or crib on the side of the road and every time I passed one and tried to help them someone would try to kill me. It was terrifying.

ETA: I haven't been back to my hometown in a long time and now next time I go I'm sure I'll be terrified lol

I used to do musicals and plays in high school. I keep dreaming that it's opening night and I don't know any of my lines! I graduated 7 years ago...why am I dreaming this?! Much panic involved.

I recently dreamed I had a litter of very tiny puppies instead of a baby.

Another one was that we had a perfect baby girl at the hospital but had no hospital bag or ANYTHING for me or the baby.

I still have nightmares about school. And I haven't been in school for 15 years.

My favorite thing about being pregnant is the dreams. I have an extremely vivid adventure every night and every nap in between. I'm only 15 weeks so I'm more anxious to start feeling baby move, then that will probably be my favorite.

I keep having weird and nonsensical dreams with an old like flame and they make no sense....it's like he get's closer and closer to wanting to be with me and the father of my child.... It's like ummmm nice seeing you but no...bye

I had a dream someone stole my car and purse. I had a Dr appt and couldn't go because the thief had my ID! I stalked the thief and killed the guy....

My dreams are becoming mini movies, that really have no plot or ending, it just jumps from scene to scene. Very interesting.

Not many baby dreams here but pregnancy always brings me sex dreams galore. They're so vivid and real that I always have to ask DH the next day if we had sex the night before. It's always a disappointing no for him. Poor guy gets more action in my dreams lately.

I'm going to resurrect this thread before starting a new one.

I had a terrible dream last night that I was in a parking lot when some random person ran up to me. They told me I don't deserve to be pregnant and started to cut out my babies!

That's creepy, right? Clearly I'm starting to worry about our 16w appt this week.

That is pretty creepy! And also pretty common. So is the dream about being able to take your Baby out and put it back in whenever you want to see it. Man, pregnancy brain!

I had one similar! I was surrounded by these gang members and they started slicing into my stomach to get my baby out, it was really scary!

@magburt That dream is so common amongst performers that it's actually called ' The Actors' Nightmare.' Lifelong singer/actress here. Maybe you're still a bit of a thespian.

@kimb311- So apparently, all of the hormones, aches, pains, headaches, weight gain, engorged baby feeders, acne and all the rest of the "joys" of pregnancy aren't enough, we also have to crazy dreams of losing our babies in several creepy ways??? This sucks.

I loved being on stage! It's a terrible reoccurring nightmare. Lol. Maybe I'll do theater again one day.

I know this dream was probably scary but for whatever reason when I read your description, I pictured the Sharks or Jets coming at you. Now I cannot stop laughing at the thought.

@MrsBwIVF that is a really scary dream. I haven't had any that bad yet, but the other night I a dream that I lost my newborn in a store then a lady found her and wouldn't give her back because she thought I was an unfit mother.

I've been there!!!! DH doesn't remember most dreams so he doesn't underlay how upsetting the can be. Especially now that they are becoming so vivid!

One: I dreamt pretty much a shot for shot rendition of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, starring myself as Belle, SO as a less peacock-y Gaston, and a beast as Beast. I sang Something There, near a lake, and got all dressed up for the ball. Then when the beast transformed into a human he was a derpy looking Sikh guy, so I bolted. Hopping into a convertible with SO/Gaston and burning rubber away from the magic castle. Sikh guys are some of the sweetest people on the planet, so when I woke up I felt guilty for abandoning him so impulsly, but I guess it was my subconcious telling me that SO always gets the girl (me) hahahahaa

Two: There was a revolution happening. I was standing in the street waving an American flag trying to get those who stood with me to sing "Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Mis. No one chimed in which, obviously lead to a turn in the tides not it our favor. So now I am running for my life, suddenly much more pregnant that I originally felt while waving the flag. People are being shot down into the mud around me. I loop the same lake from the B&B dream and come to a safe house/ice skating rink. One of my friends is there weeping because he has lost his wife in the chaos. He demands that we take a picture together before we split up because he insists that in the end all we have is our memories. The rink is ambushed and the roof collapses on us, waking me up. I wish I had more of this dream but my dog needed to go outside. hahaha

Three: Me and some random people from my past are acting out a play of some sort. Everytime a new character is introduced we pause to discuss how things will work. Then this twatwaffle who I hate even in my dreams shows up to play the lead romantic role and I just start laughing. Laughing and laughing until I realize that I am dreaming, IN MY DREAM. So I walk off stage into a room where I hear a knocking at the window. SO and his closest work friend are standing there knee deep in swamp and lake. I open the window and ask them what they are doing out in the swamp. Before I get an answer my alarm goes off and I wake up.

These are all from the past week with a glaringly obvious water theme. hahahahaha Just wanted to share.

I love dreaming. My SO thinks it must be really exausting and from what he hears, I can't blame him for thinking that. hahaha But I think its fun. A temporary trip into a world where anything can happen.

I have always had strange dreams and been decent at remembering them. Since getting pregnant I have had very few. One was about bears riding on quads around my house. I somehow knew that one of them was my kid and kept telling it to be safe and wear his helmet. Then last night I had a dream where I didn't tell anyone I was pregnant and I had the baby. We took the baby over to my family's house and they all thought we were babysitting. When I looked at the baby it was a boy and I could not stop smiling at him, I felt so much love for him and thought he was the cutest baby I had ever seen. Weird part was the baby was a Cyclopes. One eye in the middle of his face. Every time I looked down his face was changed (he eventually had two eyes) and by the end he looked like my bf when he was born. We don't even know the sex yet and my family knows but not his. I woke up so happy with love in my heart for that adorable little cyclopse.

STORY TIME, again!

I swear there should be a weekly thread for me and those like me who have been having the craziest dreams!

Anyways in this dream that I had two nights ago, I was hanging out with a big group of friends and family. It was like a BBQ or something like that. I was playing with my little cousins and I tripped and fell face first onto the ground.

Everyone gathers around me gasping voicing their concerns for the baby. I rolled over dusted myself off and was helped to my feet. My response was a very nonchalant, "Guys, guys, it's okey, I'm dreaming."

Then almost immediately I woke up, which is the usually case when my subconscious realizes too quickly that I am dreaming. I think I have two other posts in this thread about really crazy, vivid, sometimes lucid(where I become aware of my dream state and gain some ability to manipulate my surroundings) dreams.

I had an amazingly detailed dream that Tom Cruise fell head over heals for me and wanted to marry me. We also had sex twice....so vivid...now seeing Mission Impossible previews is extra enjoyable!

STORY TIME!!!!

Last night I was dreaming that I was in a fort of some kind and we were preparing for battle. The wights (army of the undead from Game of Thrones) were encroaching. SO shows up decked out like Jon Snow reborn! There is a toll of some kind of battle horn and the hoards of zombies appear on the horizon. We slam our fort closed but they are still managing to break through. I find lighter fluid in a nearby room, douse as many of them as I can and then flick a lighter and throw it at them. Some of them burst in to flame, but I have accidentally caught an allies sleeve on fire. As they go to put that out, I turn as start stomping out tiny wights as if they are cockroach size. I wake up thinking about why I went from being normal sized to giant... weird.
