FTM and very interested in CD's! What's your go-to?

Hello! I've been researching for a while about cloth and am overwhelmed by all the choices! I think it would be best to do a trial at first so we can see what kind and brand works best with our little one once he or she is here. I finally got DH on board and am interested in your opinions on what brand and type of diaper works for you? Thanks!

    Most of the regs (veteran cloth diaperers) have migrated to another community. You can find search terms that will lead you there, if you read through some of the other recent threads.

    You'll get a variety of answers on specific brand recommendations, but the general consensus is usually to have a diverse stash. Different brands and styles may work better for you at some stages than others. Also, sometimes baby's body shape will change, and you'll need to shelve a favorite for a few months until it fits again.

    We just bought a set of 6 LBB diapers with liners off Amazon for $39, they are the same fit as the AlvaBaby brand, and I just found a website that breaks everything down so easily!...now if only I could remember the blog name!

    I thought I'd hate AIO, but my Jillian's Drawers newborn trial made me like them. I now use a variety (AIO, covers with flats or pockets) depending if I'm home all day or on the go, and if it's laundry day. You'll get more responses/advice too at Then Comes Family plus there's a swap thread to buy or trade CD. Glad your DH is on board. It's going to be a fun ride!

    I have done a lot of research, and I finally decided on Softbums. I would definitely recommend watching lots of YouTube videos, reading blogs, etc to get a fully picture of what to expect and how much you are willing to do and learn.
