Our baby turned and looked when DH came into the room and called baby's name! He did it twice, so definitely no coincidence. So cute! Also to see how excited DH was about it, too.
Playing the copy the faces game with DS while he was in 'awake, not angry' mode after a bf session. He makes a face, and I copy it. With sound effects, sometimes.
P.s. - whomever in June moms came up with the 'awake, not angry' phrase, it's a good one! I totally stole it
LO is 3 weeks old today and it was our first day together just the 2 of us. I think I am finally starting to figure out what his different cries mean. I also have definitely figured out his poop face (he mean mugs, it's hilarious). I was really nervous about being alone, but we made it and it was nice just spending time with him and knowing his needs without someone here saying "he's hungry" any time he makes a sound. I love this kid so much. It's amazing
When LO feeds at night he often falls asleep cuddled up to the breast, and sometimes you get these lovely sleepy smiles. He gave me one this morning - really helped me feel better about his earlier diaper blowout.
And I second the love for "awake, not angry" - I know exactly what it means!
We went out with my dad and stepmom to a city festival type thing. Used the baby carrier for the first time and it was so cool to have her so close and have full use of hands. And hubby had out diaper backpack on then and I just loved seeing this manly bearded man with it on. Then after lunch he wore her and dear god it was so cute! I've attached a photo lol Just love going out doing family things now with a baby. Makes my heart full
Ps him holding onto her duck pacifier is so funny to me
when they placed LO on me post delivery, he immediately grabbed onto my thumb so hard his knuckles turned white. and he has this little whine that he does and its just adorable.
and seeing DH so excited/happy to be feeding him was awesome.
This may be similar to @mellymar's copying faces game...
My favorite was just today! She was being so sweet and smiley and I kept making a goofy face at her (just a really big mouth and wide eyes) and I swear she mimicked it several times right after me. It was the cutest thing and made me look forward to her interacting more as time goes on.

Mine! Give me credit when you write a baby care book!
My favorite LO thing right now is how he laughs out loud in his sleep right after he falls a sleep at the boob.
My favorite family memory is leaving LO with DS for the first time and coming home to him wearing LO in the Boba and vacuuming. Yeah Happiest Baby on the Block.
@virginiaunicorn11 Don't be posting that about your gifted LO! Now I am pulling up milestone charts and wondering if DS2 is delayed. Kidding. Sort of. Maybe he doesn't know his name because we only call him chunk, bubba and -- dawg. Oops.

Lol, I didn't know it was a Thing! I posted elsewhere that we have to call him by his name because we named him after my grandfather and didn't realize how weird that would be! For the first two weeks, DH and I both were accidentally almost calling him something different (our nephew's name and our friend's kid's name).
My kid is not laughing yet, so we are even :-) And my DH does NOT vacuum!!
Went to the doctor yesterday and left ds with my dad. When I got back my dad said he had been pretty fussy the whole time I was gone. I went up to ds, picked him up and smiled at him. He smiled back and calmed right down. He got all fussy again shortly after (lol) but it was so awesome he recognized me and was clearly happy to see me in his own baby way. : )
LO for real smiled at me yesterday while we were out to lunch and she looked over at me after walking up, it was awesome. I also love those reflex smiles when she falls asleep at the boob.
My favorite one was just this morning at his 5am feeding. I was trying to rock him back to sleep when he looked up at me with these large twinkling eyes and that big grin and I absolutely cackled (slap happy at this point in the night) LO looked away like he was shy and when I calmed down he did it again sending me into another fit of giggles the process repeted itself for a good five minutes and my sleep addled brain swears that I could see amusement in his eyes.
I second @katyertl ! DH wearing LO is the freaking cutest thing ever. We went to get frozen yogurt with fam last week & he begged to wear her. *photo attached*
Also, I ADORE her wake up stretch face. I caught it 2 weeks ago. Makes me melt every time. *2nd photo*
This morning after I changed DS's diaper and outfit after he spit up all over himself he gave me this big smile like it was his way of saying "thanks mom!"

Every minute of it all. I waited till 34 for my Lil D and I've never been more in love! She's my everything. If I had to pick one thing it's singing to her in the evenings when her daddy's at work. All your little ones are so cute!
I'm loving right now. DS is asleep on the boppy, propped on my arm, and he has his usual sleep pose going on - both arms thrown up - either like superman or like the kid from Home Alone with his hands next to his cheeks.
Bonus - I've eaten dinner so I'm full and happy, also, and my hands are free for bumping
LO got my mouth (and huge lips) and his smiles kill me. When he wakes up early, looks up at me and smiles with his his lips and mouth taking up his whole face I just die. But, also... DH has been falling asleep when he's on baby duty (when baby falls asleep) and I will wake up to them cuddled up on the bed. It's adorable, even if it gives me panic attacks because our bed is not cosleeping ideal.
Yes! The full body post-sleep stretch is the cutest thing ever!
Also, I've seen this in some of your guys' photos too: When LO makes this "O" with her mouth, I have no idea what it means but it's adorable. (Doesn't seem to consistently coincide with any particular event like pooping).
My toddler got our first smile this morning! I was holding one of the twins up so she could kiss her and talk to her and the baby smiled so big! It was the first time for either baby and I'm actual really happy it was for her sister. Just showed me the importance of their relationship and I know the twins are going to adore their older sister!
Good moment today was when DH came home from duty this morning after being gone two days. He comes over and kisses LO first, kisses me next, then goes to change clothes and once he is done, takes LO from me. It was awesome cause I felt like I was going 'off duty' after having the responsibility of LO for two days, and also just to watch him hold LO and talk to him and make faces at him. Huge swell of love for him.
I also love the face she makes when she wakes up after dozing off on the boob. I call it her Popeye face because she squints and makes her lips/mouth just like the character. It makes me giggle every time. I also love when she falls asleep snuggled next to me. She's so blissed out....it makes my heart swell. Love her to pieces.

After LO had been unsettled for quite sometime SO finally came to me. I took LO and he looked up and smiled then drifted off to sleep.
Guess he just wanted mama bear cuddles
And cuddles!!
