Positive, but Negative today

Hi ladies, I took a hpt yesterday and there was definitely a line for positive. Took another test today and it said not pregnant. I am 11 days past ovulation so I am thinking my hCG levels are just stoll very low. Any thoughts?

    Was the negative from a blue dye test? I had five positives with first response and still got a negative from Clear Blue until a day later.

    I had this happen with my first pregnancy.  At 5 weeks I had a positive test.  At 6 weeks I screwed myself up by taking another test and got a negative, which caused me to become very scared.  In reality, I learned that there was such a thing as a hook effect, and that once you have enough of the HCG level, the tests can show negative sometimes.

    Yes, it was a Clear Blue that said negative si I will try again tomorrow! I know false positives are rare so I am hopeful!
