We tend to call her the weekly fruit from the ticker or Little Baby or Little Baby Girl.
Yes, did you know some Marines will never make a baby boy thanks to radio wave equipment they had to use overseas? Sad but true. Something you won't see in the movies, lol.
We're thrilled for our sweet little girl-to-be though!
We used cashew with my son. When we went for the first ultra sound (at I think 6 weeks) the picture looked like a little cashew, it stuck. My mom called him flip flop because I dind't find out if I was having a boy or a girl, so we would come up with a name each week based on the fruit size.... (lime was margarita, rutabega was rudy etc.) so since the gender of the name kept flip flopping she started calling him flip flop
DS1 was gummy bear, this one so far is jelly bean. I wonder if we will change it after the first ultrasound. My sister called her second kid "falafel", LOL. It's hard thinking of a nickname that an immediate family member hasn't already used (since they sometimes still call them that now).

My husband is a navy corpsman... He has a little girl... I wonder....
Ours is baby B :bz since our last name is Bennett.
We've both come to realize that since I'm not a pink person, our stroller is a green color (uppababy vista carlin) and I just got the blue alpaca Tula, we're having a girl.

We're having twins and our last name ends with -bert, so we've been calling them the twinberts!
With our first son we were calling him Herbert in utero, because that's really close to our last name and we thought it was hilarious to tell people we were naming our child Herbert and watch their reactions, lol! Note: I don't think there's anything wrong with the name Herbert, but with our last name it's 100% ridiculous.
We collectively call our kids "our minions" or "my minions" (And funny enough, we did it before Despicable Me ever came out, but it is even funnier, now and the Despicable Me minions are so stinkin' cute!) so the new little one is "the minion"

I calm mine, dancer. Because when we had our two ultra sounds this week (one emergancy, but we are good!) my husband calls it a Dalmatian, and his brother saids it a teddy bear. Lol.
First it was Nugget, but recently I adopted Gummy Bear cause my first U/S made me think of a gummy bear too! I called it the little Booger when it's making me feel bleh.
We're calling it Melon in honor of the thing we told our other little ones (with a smile and a wink) the first time each of them had asked where babies come from. ''Mommy swallowed a watermelon seed''. Of course after that we give them a ''tiny'' bit more accurate version. Havent told the kids yet on this one since we told them early with last one and then lost it due to me being low in iodine. We want to wait and introduce them to Melon after 12 weeks.
When I found out I was pregnant, I was calling it my little "Jelly Bean". We had our first ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks, (had to be medically OK'd to go on a cruise last week), and we saw a "pregnancy sack" but no embryo. The doctor's ultrasound machine isn't very strong and he said that it was OK- it's too early to see anything on his machine. So, we knew there was a "sack"... I started calling him "Sackary". LOL. Our 8 week ultrasound is in 2 days, and I'm praying he will show up on it. I haven't had any bleeding or anything. Boobs are killing me and I've had some nausea and food aversion. I've even felt some tiny flutters in the last couple of days (and no, it wasn't gas... I'm all too familiar with what gas feels like... lol) so I know he's in there. Yay Sackary! :P I'm sure his name will change though after we get to see him on Tuesday.
