hello everyone. Hope all is well and you are all thriving.

Now I'm not one to be impatient or feel the need to 'hurry things up' in a sense but I am very curious as to what your views are on Castor oil and if any of you have tried this method? Also, is it worth it? Or does it just make a mess and leave you feeling poorly with no end result other than a sore bottom and sickness?
Maybe other safer remedies worked for you?
I can't wait to hear your views

Even if I were to pass my due date, I don't think I can even stand the thought of having diarrhea during labor!! Yikes!

@rachelhannan :
Ricinus communis (Castor Plant) & Oenothera biennis (Evening Primrose).
They serve two entirely different purposes.
The castor oil is really just to produce an inflammatory response that will cause labor from the stress on the body. Not ideal.
The Evening Primrose Oil is used to encourage the cervix to thin. Taken vaginally it can help if your baby's head is already engaged with your pelvis to smoosh down to create progression.
I would really really look to educate yourself before popping random herbal medications blindly.
You aren't even full term yet-- if you make it to 40 weeks then worry about all this. Slow your roll...

This just makes me sad. And to think, you will have 3 children and you are making horrible decisions like this.
Why were you in such a rush?
