Mine started creeping up last time around 32 weeks. We are watching it closely this time because of that. This time I take it 1-2 times a day and bring a log to every appointment so they can see how it is. The highest it's been lately is 135/70 and that's been on a stressful day.
One thing I always try to do is get there early and deep breathe in the waiting room. Then I ask the nurse to give me 5 minutes of sitting before they take it. It makes a huge difference. Towards the end last time I would have them take it laying down since that's how I spent my days!
I never got put on meds last time. But I did go on bed rest at 35 weeks. That was enough to keep it under control. I controlled it so well I was allowed to go to 41 weeks. This time I've requested meds before bed rest. We will take it appointment by appointment.
