Tmi- My vagina has decided it's Zeus

DH just got home from work, we sat talking and I curled into a ball suddenly because it felt like lightning bolts were shooting either out or into my vagina!
I did a quick Google search and it seems pretty normal with all the stretching but dear me, it was so awkward and painful!
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or am I just pregnant with a mythological God's twins?

I have definitely had that experience - kind of takes your breath away, doesn't it?

Also, I'm all for TMI, but I think we should have a TMI thread where we all over-share. Does this exist? I should use the search function.

Yes ma'am. It'll come and go until baby arrives. Although mine didn't start until 3rd tri. They're quite the sensation, and not in a good way either!

The best part was as I'm holding my lady bits in pain, DH asks "Has it been hurting all day? Is it from sex last night?"
I stopped everything, looked at him and said, "Uh, you're not THAT big!"

Lightening crotch is so much fun! And yea you can feel it elsewhere, belly button and lower. I literally would feel it hitting and traveling directly up in a straight line to my belly button. This time it's just happening randomly. Zoing!

So, does lightning crotch ever feel like pinching to you guys? That's the only thing I have felt in previous pregnancies - a sharp pinching pain in my cervix. Is that the same thing?

Ugh. I got this in the car the other day. It usually isn't that bad but I was frantically shifting around in my seat trying to get a little relief. Hubby was driving and asked so I told him what what going on. His response was actually that it sounded fun, like, in a kinky sort of way. I offered to share the pain.

I'm glad you posted this I was having "lightening abdomen" 1-2 weeks ago. It was weird because it was consistent shooting pain but actually was a pretty mild pain (pain scale 1-2) but so different than cramping etc. I couldn't figure out what it was...but since it wasn't accompanied with other symptoms and the pain was mild I kind of blew it off, it is always good to know a symptom is normal!

Oh my god it's the worst!!!!! It's ok when I'm sitting, but when I stand up, I can't walk! This is going to get interesting when I head back to school in August...thinking I'll get a yoga ball for my classroom. Also, I've heard about a chiropractor/acupuncturist being helpful. Trying next week. I'll let you know.

I had this with my first and I had no idea what it was or that it was a 'thing'! Freaked the hell out of me and I pulled some strange moves walking down the central aisle of my open plan office...very bizarre. I had completely forgotten about it. I also got that scratchy feeling in my cervix which is still a mystery. Now I know to 'feel out' for it. And the discharge...it makes me feel pretty yucky!!!

I think I remember lightning crotch from when I was pregnant with my son 6 years ago... But I'm only getting sharp pains when I bend over and I think it's from my bladder because I will go empty a tiny bit even when I don't feel like I have to pee and it goes away. But I was sitting on the couch indian style earlier and I felt thumps on my cervix! Weirdest feeling ever..
