Trey for a boy ... I went to high school with a Trey, who is now a war hero... So you think I could do it, but there's just too many memories... It be weird
Quinn for a girl.... I love Quinn, but it's just becoming too popular for me.
@kemerson531 I was going to say the same thing! If it's a boy, he'd be nameless... Or last time he liked Valentino. But I hate Val as a nn.
For a girl, he really liked Aria last time.
He hasn't given one suggestion yet this time around. I thought he learned that we need to start talking early this time since DS was "Baby boy" for 5 days!

Aria is at the top of my girls list, I don't even care that it's getting more popular by the second.
Baby would be nameless, he hasn't come up with anything on his own...but the upside of that is that he has been 100% amenable to my name ideas, and not just in a "whatever you want" dismissive way, lol
Every time I ask DH about this he says Bruce Willis. I'm like, Ok I can maybe work with Bruce... he says nope, Bruce Willis or nothing. He also can't wrap his head around the idea of having a girl... but we're working on that lol
He hasn't come up with any girl names since I've already picked it out before getting pregnant. Ironically, we both had the same favorite boy name in mind before even meeting each other lol. However, he mentioned if we ever have a second son he would like to name him Oliver. All I can think of is Oliver Twist saying "Please sir, I want some more."
We are having a boy and he would likely name it after his dad and grandpa so it would be Wesley James. Not my personal fave but that would be his choice.

Quint for a boy, as in the fisherman from Jaws. Oddly enough though whenever he says the name I never hear him pronounce the "t." I told him maybe for a dog down the line... Lara for a girl. Idk, it's nms.
DH went on a riff about naming our baby Hendrick if it is a boy and got mad that I said no to his "sentimental" choice... I'm like what are you talking about??? You came up with the name on the fly because you like the nickname Hank!! No attachment or tie to his family whatsoever. No girls names yet from him. :-?

LeDwayde James. It's a horrible combination of Lebron James and Dwayne Wade. My DH is a Miami Heat fan. A few years ago when they were headed to the finals I (drunkenly) agreed to it if we ever had a 10+ pounder. Well. Here we are. Expecting. And he remembers what I said. I hope our baby is 9 lbs 15 oz just to drive him nuts.

If that baby is a 10+ pounder, you should get ALL the say.
Larry. And the day he said that was the day I decided to name my children without him...
He actually named his first child (with another woman) and chose Devon, but prounced like Yvonne except with "Dev" at the front. Apparently after some baseball player? Obviously everyone ever mispronounces it. Why would he do that to his son?!
Re: If the baby's name was up to your SO...
Boy: Elvis. He pushes for Elvis every pregnancy. No. His second boy choice is Leo, but our boys both have L names and I'm not doing that.

Umlaut. My DH is always like, "But, our child could be like Prince! Just a symbol! One of a kind!" -_-
Or Bruce Wayne.

My taste is very traditional, think Elizabeth and Joseph. His names are always a Greek god, or scifi dragon character. No, no, no, no, nope.
sigh.
