Cereal is one of my favorite things to eat and I've been pretty much cut off at this point because it seems to have extra blood sugar spiking powers for me :-( but when I'm not pregnant, I'll get a small mixing bowl full for lunch. Usually something like Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, or Cocoa Crispies. I miss it so much!!!!! :_(
Cereal has probably been my biggest craving this pregnancy. First tri I ate boxes and boxes of Life. Second and third it has been all about the frosted mini wheats. I have been trying to mix it up with some honey bunches of oats, but it is not the same. Only mini wheats will do.
First pregnancy was lucky charms and fruity pebbles all the time! This pregnancy cereal isn't quite as often, but when I do, chocolate frosted mini wheats!
I have eaten so much fricken cereal this pregnancy!! Mostly regular Cheerios and Raisin Bran (can never have enough fiber right?). But my latest was a box of Kix....yes a box... it only took me a few days and that sucker was gone!
It's been cocoa pebbles for the past several months. This month it turned to honey combs. I have it at least 5 days a week for breakfast and sometimes a night snack
I'm such an old lady when it comes to cereal. Raisin bran, granola , mini wheats. We never had crazy cereals as a kid so I never got a taste for them. And you can never have enough fiber!
I've been eating honey bunches of oats! Sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for a snack. I've been eating a lot of cereal throughout my pregnancy. I wonder if it's ask the added vitamins my body is craving? Or just the sugar? Lol
If I run out of cereal it's a really sad day, and I usually talk DH into picking up a box or two on the way home from work. Cereal is an "anytime" food for me whether it's in a bowl with milk or by the handful out of the box ... great, now I want some Kix, and I don't have any.
I had Captain Crunch for bfast and normally have another bowl at night if I'm hungry but too lazy to put something together. Love me some crunch berries!
I've always been a cereal girl! some days I don't have any but others I have 2. I try to have a healthier option for breakfast and then every once in awhile I'll let myself buy some fun kid (aka sugary) cereal for the evening snack.
I went to shoprite JUST to get cereal after reading this post & right when i walked in, alll my favorites were on sale for $1.99! I grabbed 2 boxes of cocoa puffs, lucky charms and golden grahams Scoreeeeeee!
I LOVE cereal. I go through at least 2 boxes a week! lol. Actually, if it weren't for cereal I would have starved to death the first trimester because it was one of the few things I could keep down. My favorites are Honey nut cheerios, Vanilla chex and cinnomin toast crunch(which was on sale this week for .98$ a box! #win)! Yay for cereal.
APPLE JACKS!!! But since weve tried to do the whole healthy thing ive settled for vanilla greek yogurt with gluten free chocolate granola....ive only had one box of apple jacks this whole pregnancy (not in one sitting! Lol)
Cereal is my current "eat it all the time" food, my kids aren't complaining... Right now we are downing a box of cocoa puffs& FYI they had a REAL toy fall into their bowl this morning, it was a minion! Made me feel like a kid again
omg. i love cereal! special K red berries is my fav breakfast cereal and then i have a "dessert" cereal for evenings..usually peanut butter captain crunch, but right now its cinnamon toast crunch..yum!
