Cramps after internal check

I had my first cervical check today at almost 37 weeks prego. I have been having some period like cramping ever since. Nothing horrible just annoying. Anyone else?

    Yep, normal and to be expected plus some spotting is not unusual.

    I had my 39 week check and had horrible cramps and period like bleeding-- not spotting like I was expecting. It was my first and only panicked call to the on call doctor!! He said it was totally normal this late in the game and as long as I wasn't filling a pad, than it was normal!

    It happens to me everytime I get checked...totally normal!

    Normal and also you can bleed. So I just wore a pad to my appointments there on.

    Oh yes haha the check and membrane sweep always make me feel crampy and sore after. Had one today and I'm 40+5 and same thing feels like my period all over again, I on the other hand haven't spotted at all and today was my 3rd one for the check and membrane sweep. Being induced Tom thank goodness!
