Team green here but our girth name is Sigourney Marlene, nn Ziggy
I wrote it out earlier though on a different thread and now I'm doubting it, maybe? It's maybe too long? Too clunky? My partner still loves it, so I'm not going to go changing things but it was strange to suddenly have some doubts creep in!
How do you pronounce this?
Se-gor-ney
There's a famous actress with this first name if you've ever heard of her.
The Queen of Science Fiction and leading lady in my partner's favorite movie series, lol. I think I'm still okay with the first name, and the middle name is after my grandma and I don't want to change that either, I just don't know about the two of them together.
ETA gahhh my kingdom for the skillz to include a gif :-\ ETA AHAHAHAH FIGURED IT OUT
Florence Anne. Lora or Lora Anne as a nickname most likely. I call my first Katie Grace, a lot. So it will probably be Lora Anne.
That's a beautiful name!
It's after my husbands grandma and my grandma. Both deceased. My Katie is Katharine Grace after his great grandma and my great grandma. I'd love to stick with family names and there are so many nice ones. For boys: William, Charles, Harry For girls: Elizabeth, Susan, and the ones we've already used.

That's really sweet! Our baby girl middle name choice, Marlene, is after my grandma. I never got to know her as well as I wanted, but she was such a pivotal role model in my life, always encouraging me to be artistic. She felt a strong connection to me even while my mom was pregnant with me and I've always felt it as well.
Team green! But my baby girl will be Shyla Florence! My husbands from West Virginia and we spent about a year in India... Shyla translates to 'daughter of the mountain' Hindi origin, and translates well to his mountain roots. Florence is after my grandmother... And I think the combo is beautiful and so special to us.
Reagan Inez: means pure and holy royalty and Inez was paternal grandmother's middle name. Our other daughter has my husband's paternal grandmother's middle name.
Yes, it is not the traditional spelling of the feminine "Jean", but it's a family thing on my mom's side (i.e., I'm Kelsey Gene) so I'm keeping the tradition alive
