Congrats! There are threads stickied near the top of the front page to announce the sex of your baby and discuss name ideas. Additionally, it is highly recommended that you lurk and familiarize yourself with the boards before posting (since you said you don't come here often). That way, you would know that making individual posts about the sex of your baby takes away from other moms who may have important questions and concerns about their pregnancies. We are all excited about our babies, but there are appropriate places to share this type of news, and your own post is not one of them.
I understand what you are saying about creating new threads etc. However, if a mom has "important questions and concerns about their pregnancies" they should seek proper medical advice from a professional as opposed to strangers on a community group board which is free for anyone to join...
Do has anybody tried the capt crunch delights from Taco Bell?? I have eaten a few everyday for the past week.. I think I have a slight addiction to them..
I just told my coworker we are going for them tomorrow! They look so good.
They are amazing.. My husband has been feeding my new found addiction.. He bought me 12 pack for lunch.. Our sons going to come out eating some pancakes and capt crunch delights lol

Edit because my phones not very smart
Apparently I'm late to this one, wow.. Anyway, yes! DH is addicted to them! I got two last week to try and gave him one. That was a mistake. He had to go through the drive through like two days later and order the 12 pack. Haha

Agreed, but even still, a person may be posting because they're scared, maybe young, or not as comfortable calling their doctor. We can at least say "GIRL GET TO A DOCTOR!" and give as much advice in the meantime as we can. It sucks when that stuff gets pushed down. Same with someone having a totally crap day who just needs creepy internet hugs.
Ladies I knew I shouldn't have opened this thread... I'm SO HUNGRY NOW! DH is making pizza tonight. It'll be ready as soon as the boy is in bed (about an hour) but I'm not sure I can wait that long!

To an extent, I agree. And usually when something requiring a docs attn comes up, the regulars are the first to let posters know that. I think what people mean about more serious questions or topics is more emotional - how to deal with FEELINGS about serious topics, like GD, Pre-e, pre term contractions, fetal abnormaties, etc. I would much rather spend time consoling or advising those members than scrolling past dozens of posts squeeing about wieners vs. vajayjays.

I see where you're coming from on this, too, but sometimes people on a message board can offer advice from experience and/or emotional support that a medical professional will not. ETA: This is especially true if you have already contacted a medical professional and taken steps to get answers, but are not in a position to get them right away, as is often the case with lab work, etc.
Annnnnnywayyyyy...I'm pretty excited to be running errands today and treating myself with Krispy Kremes on my way home. Glucose test? Gonna nail it fo sho.
Ha!!! Love this ^^ totally was in the candy aisle at Walmart with a DH with an ARMFUL of packaged candy, made it to the pixie stix and grabbed them and then talked myself out of them because "straight sugar is the line for that glucose test I'm sure":
@mamavbs giiiirl no need for the motorway.. Me n my boyfriend drove past BK and I was like wait, what, they do breakfast??!! I have a mc d's up the road from me which is lethal but a 20 min drive and I'm at BK at a town not too far away..serving breakfast. I felt a piece of me that I never knew was missing instantly fell into place
1) OMG @elyse1384 congratulations on the free burger! Free food is the best food.
2) Why are crossainwiches from BK so delicious?
3) Why are Subway cookies so delicious?
4) To answer OP's question, I am having a leftover shredded chicken burrito for lunch. Not too exciting, but I did stress eat some cupcakes in the car earlier after DD was a total terror in the grocery store, so yay me?
IDK if they still have them but I LOVED the cheesecake cookies...
Announcement of a baby a the announcement of a free burger a little different don't ya think? Lol
Listen iv been in your position and nearly had a new butthole put in but I would suggest to ignore and not respond. It's just going to get a lot worse. They are right though. There are search functions, I still haven't gotten the hang of it but when you go to reply to a response you will see a search bar. Use that. And we have spread sheets that were done when everyone was around 3 months or so. Post on there and you can also take part by looking at other posts. If you post on an old thread I believe it will show on the first page. Again I only write discussions when absolutely needed.

If only everybody could take criticism this well! I'd like to say, though, that the Due Date Spreadsheet thread is stickied, as are the Team Blue, Green, and Pink threads and the Gender and Names thread. She didn't even have to search if she didn't want to or know how. They're all right there toward the top of page one, no matter when the most recent post was made.
I really hate fast food. With the exception of stopping at chick fil during annual road trips, it's been over 7 years. No Taco Bell, no kfc, no Burger King, no McDonald's, nothing. I'm not a health nut either though, it just never sounds appetizing. But this thread is pushing me toward jumping off the wagon head first...

I go through spurts where I cut them all out for months at a time so I get it. My issue is I'm on the road for work a lot so I can't always bring lunch with me.

Husband is on his way to 5 Guys for a burger after his meeting for me. Woohoo.
So, I'm having a burger. What's everyone else having?
I had potato salad and cole slaw. Both have been my only real cravings. I just want BBQ sides apparently.

Buuuuut I went to BK and used a coupon and got two croissanwiches, ham with no egg, for $1.29. SCORE. And they taste like heaven.
These goddamn trolls with their stupid AW posts are going to make me fat. Now I want all the food in all the world x 2.
OP GET A WHOPPA IN YOUR WAY TO CANADA!!!
