OMG I watched it during my little ones nap time today!!!
1. I never watched Andi's season so I knew nothing about Nick coming in. I think he's an entitled trust fund kid. He acts like many boys I knew in college, but he's 34... I'm not really a fan. I feel like Kaitlin likes him in a lusty, fun adventure kind of way, but not as a husband.
2. I loooove Ben H.
3. I think it will come down to Shawn, Ben H, Nick and Jarod. And I think Shawn will ...win?
4. ...oh Ian... "I'm the most educated, hottest man alive, why would this shallow girl not like me?!" Ha!
I look at it like this: if Kaitlyn is truly looking for love and a husband then I really don't mind she brought Nick on. I don't like Nick, he's not my cup o' tea but if she was feeling things for him and didn't bring him on then she would end this season with a proposal and may have those feelings of "what if..." So I support her.
As for a few comments I've seen on Facebook talking about how her season isn't as "romantic" as other season, I actually like this better. I'm sure any 2 people can fall in love flying to Tahiti and wearing evening gowns every night. I like that her dates have been relatively down to earth and not way over the top.
Every episode I dislike her more and more. I really think so many of the guys on this season are great though! Can anyone just go to the person's hotel room at night?
As much as she and Nick both bug me, there was no denying the chemistry tonight. I guess we'll see if there's more than just sex, but at this point Nick is my front runner -- for her. I'm mostly interested in who our next bachelor is, though! I'm hoping Ben H. (I think that's his last initial - the one who looks like Peter Brady.)
I don't know how you ladies can resist the spoilers! I love Reality Steve's blog. I suppose I'm in the minority, but I actually don't mind Nick. However, can we please discuss how on earth JJ is still there? There is nothing appealing about that dude. I just don't get it. As far as Kaitlin's intentions are concerned, I think finding a husband is about 529th on her list (approximately). She seems like she is just there for a good time.

LOL omg these posts are wonderful. I have NO idea how JJ is still there, although I think he has a man crush on Joe now. I feel like he has to go home on the two-on-one. However, I don't understand her choice of guys right now. She seems to go for the more feminine, sensitive guys (Jared) and not the macho hotties (omg, both Bens...swoon).
I hope Shawn just goes home. My husband predicts a mass exit from the guys (yes, he loves this show, and we watch with a ton of couples, boys are so funny). So many SOLID guys this season that honestly, she doesn't seem good enough for. They're too normal and chill while she (as a previous poster mentioned) needs a cold shower and a reality check!
I had the most vivid dream that the Bachelorette staff made her take a pregnancy test and get tested for STDs on the show! Lol. Crazy pregnancy dreams! Oh and Nick.... Just ewww. I saw this and it cracked me up. May be dating myself here....

@mamaksweez He just thinks that all of the guys are way too good for her. They're going to realize she slept with one of the contestants, who was not even one of the ORIGINAL guys (and that they already kind of hate) and just say BYE FELICIA. It's crazy to me that she made that decision! She's been on the other side of things, so it's not like she doesn't realize how messed up that is! And, ok, we've all had too much whiskey and woken up thinking yikes, never again (granted my moments were mostly pizza related but I digress)...but she had like 5 camera men in the room! That's like your mom staring at you and you're still deciding to have sex with ONE of your boyfriends. It's crazy town.
I mean, do you girl, I'm not knocking the girl getttttin it, but they all have the right to walk away.

My friend Christine was completely heart broken that Jared was sent home. I have no clue which way she's gonna go. Watching the preview for next week almost made it seem she's fed up with both Shawn and Nicks shenanigans.
I bet she sends Shawn home next week because the preview did totally look like she's fed up with the Nick/Shawn situation and I think she has more of a connection with Nick.
Shawn is way too high maintenance and is overly possessive in my opinion. Although I am not a Nick fan, I do think him and Kaitlyn are good for eachother. Ben is too good for her.
I did a two day binge and now I'm all caught up lol. Honestly, I think these guys are too good for her. I think anyone would "fall in love" under these circumstances. Put me on a cliff having a picnic overlooking the coast of Ireland (even if it was with Chewbacca) and I'd fall in love too! I think these men liked the chase more than anything. I definitely don't see wife material in Kaitlyn. Seems like she's all about having fun with multiple men. If she truly is looking for a long lasting marriage, she should pick Ben H. Shawn is far too insecure and has trust issues, and the passion with Nick will likely fade. Just my two pennies
Edited to add: I was crushed for Jared when she sent him home. He was such a sweetie! Maybe after watching the show he'll realize he dodged a bullet. Can't wait for "The Men Tell All"
I think Jared was sooo sweet when he was sent home! That shows his good character. I'm so over this Nick thing and how it's half of what gets talked about on the show, even in her conversations with other men! I still can't believe she slept with him and kinda hope Shawn walks away so she can see that her actions do have consequences. If I were him and she said you're the one but then came back and said I shouldn't have said that, then I wouldn't trust her even if she said it again at the end. I also hope she tells Ben she slept with Nick because that's not fair to him to have him still be there and not tell him.
Oh, and is anyone else thrown off by how the weeks are blurred and the roses aren't necessarily given out at the end of the episode?!? Kinda annoyed by that.
Yes!! I thought it was SO strange that each episode doesn't end with a rose ceremony! I guess there are more cliff hangers this way to make you want to watch next week. Also, since they are on the over night dates, don't you think Ben will just assume that she slept with everyone left? Even though it's the 2nd time for Nick, I don't think it really makes a difference.
I wonder if she's gonna sleep with Shawn on the overnight?! I bet he will still be whining about the Nick situation and ruin the moment. I think Nick handled the confrontation of Shawn coming to his room pretty well. Shawn needs to get a grip and remember the premise of the show he's on!
Ok I'm a little late but imo I hope Shawn walks away (he's my favorite), I hope Ben sees through her before the final rose and I hope nick gets sent home! I cannot stand nick!
I've been losing respect for Shawn. Dude... You signed up for this, get over it. I think he's a good guy, I just don't like how he's handling himself in this process. I don't think she and Ben will be compatible once reality hits, but who knows. I'm thinking it'll be Nick.
My DH picked Jared on the first night, he's super bummed he left. I think he or Ben H. would be a great next bachelor. Honestly at this point I think she should just pick Nick, they are perfect for each other!

I would totally date Ben H if I wasn't knocked up and married. Every time we watch the Show, my husband keeps saying that he thinks he looks like Shawn lol.
I wonder if they edit her relationship with Shawn to make it look worse than it is. She seems to always have more fun with the others yet Shawn gets the rose. That said, I think Shawn has the strongest feelings for her.
I never thought about that. Shawn does always come off as like jealous and he makes me be like "ugh" all the time. I totally bet it's edited to look that way because at the meet the family it seemed pretty genuine. I do think it'll end up being Nick though. I think they're kind of perfect for each other. That being said I also think they'll get divorced. The passion will eventually die. Also I was upset when the next show is going to be the reunion! I just want to know who it is already, but then I saw previews and I'm a little excited for it. Ha.
I don't like nick but I do think they are well suited for each other. Ben H was way too good for Kaitlin, so I'm glad he's out for his sake. Lots of the guys were too good for her in my opinion.
I think this is the first season in a long time where I'm more excited for the men tell all then the final episode! Can't wait to hear them do more Nick bashing and some Kaitlin bashing!
I second that, @PreggoInTheCity - I watch every Monday with my best friend and we are doing a big celebration for the tell all episode. I'm so excited for them to just reflect on what they think of her. I find her to be a hot mess, and when I realized she's 29 I couldn't believe how immature she seemed! I'm on team "Kaitlin freaks out because nobody proposed".
Minus Nick, this was a great group of guys (overall) & I just can't believe how much I don't like her as the bachelorette!! Yep, very immature, very dramatic, overall mess...man, and to think I thought no one could shed more tears than Britt as the bachelorette? Omg, this season is terrible. Haha, ps, can I be the only one that calls Shaun, Ryan Gosling? I know he's not, but while I watch with hubby, I'm like ooooh, here's RG!! And I love how he just calls Nick, "that other guy".

I also felt so bad for Kaitlin and her hate mail. I think she's boy crazy and acts like a high schooler some times, but I was shocked at how horrible some people were to her!!
I was also surprised that Nick wasn't talked about more, since it seems like that's what the whole show has revolved around.
Also since they announced that JJ and Jared are going to be on Bachelor in Paradise and they didn't announce that Ben H is going to be on it, I totally think he'll be the next bachelor!
Ben H is so young!! I like him a lot but don't think he should be the bachelor... I think he's got a better chance of falling in real love in the real world. I was really hoping for Ben Z.
Ian was super insincere but I think he just wanted to save face on TV. He doesn't regret what he said at all.
I feel the same about Kaitlin. She's annoying but doesn't deserve all the awful stuff people said like that. People can be cruel.
Ultimately I was a little surprised the guys weren't harder on Kaitlin as a group. Especially with the whole Nick "sex thing" and only telling one person instead of all. I still think she decides to not go through with it. Even if she does give a rose to a guy I bet they're broken up by the time it goes to the live after show. Looking forward to it!

I think it was really crappy for Kaitlin to stress so much about telling Shawn about her raunchy night with Nick, but not Ben H. I was glad he brought it up, but she gave a pageant answer by tip toeing around the truth. She knew that her top two would be Nick and Shawn. That's why she didn't worry about revealing it to Ben H. Poor guy knew
Surprisingly, I'm not a Nick hater (although I think he's pretty annoying). They might work out a little longer than Kaitlin and Shawn. I have a gut feeling that Shawn's jealousy and trust issues will continue after the show. I think once the cameras, helicopters, and fancy dinners are gone reality will hit and Kaitlin will see how insecure, jealous, and possibly controlling (gasp!) he is.

Agree with everything everyone said. Was it just me or did it seem like whenever she was referring to Shawn it was like "he likes this" or "he cares about x" - like it was present tense and her boyfriend--- also I thought one of the times she did it Chris Harrison gave her the evil eye and made a weird look.
