Take those pains seriously!

Hi All, my little one was expected 8/8, but last weekend, I had what I thought were gas pains (been having bad constipation for a few weeks). I had a little spotting, but then I have a polyp too, which sometimes does this. My spotting didn't stop all night and I decided to go to the hospital. Low and behold, my little guy arrived in about an hour at 35 weeks. Lesson: make sure you take birth class on time (I had not yet) and take those pains seriously!

Same for me! I swore my contractions were gas pains. I took a gas x and when it didn't go away I knew that I was having contractions. Congrats on your little one!

Congratulations!!!!! :-) and I agree!!! If something doesn't seem right, then call or go in!!! I thought I had a stomach virus but it ended up being my pre-e getting worse along with HELLP and now my lil girl is here!

How is he??? It was really that fast? Omg. Were the pains severe or just mild??? Sorry so curious because I'm just now 36 weeks...due first week of August as well!!!
