I believe! I don't know the sex yet, we find out in August. We want a boy but from day 1 I just had a feeling it was a girl and it's stuck with me and I'm now almost 16 weeks. I guess we will see =P

That's how it's been for me too! I don't mind either but I feel 90% positive it's a boy. I might be shocked if they tell me it's a girl. When I think about it I just feel like I'm carrying and protecting a little boy. I just have this gut feeling. We will see
I knew I was having a girl. I'm a FTM and just absolutely knew. I was even buying a few girls clothing items well before our elective gender scan because I just knew. I never let DH know because he wanted a boy so bad and I didn't want to be the bearer of unsubstantiated bad news. During our elective US out tech asked if either of us had a feeling and I said "I know it's a girl," and I was right. I tried to keep my overwhelming excitement to myself so as to be sensitive to my DH if he was feeling any let down, but he just said "so when are we going to plan for the next one?!" :-O

From the moment I saw the BFP, I just "knew" it was a boy! Although we are Team Green (for now) I posted an US a few posts back...tell me what you think! ☺️
We find out August 7th, I'm getting super impatient lol when will you know? I've had so many dreams about the baby and it's been a girl every time. My husband gets a bit upset when I tell him it's a girl lol but I always remind him that little girls have a special bond with their daddies, so he should be happy =]
This may sound crazy but when we were waiting for the results from genetic testing I had a dream the doctor called and said it was a girl. I immediately woke up from the dream and had a very strange warm sensation come over me. Sure enough, a week later we found out it is a girl!
When I told DH about the dream and warm sensation he asked me if I wet the bed! Lol men......oh and the chinese calendar thing said it was a boy [-X
My mom was right with all of her pregnancies, she strongly believes in this. She says mother's first instinct is always right, you feel it in your gut. I thought it was all bogus but my gut told me I was having a little boy and surprise surprise, I was actually right. Coincidence? Maybe, who knows.

I think that sometimes it can be right, but other times you can be way off. with this last one I thought "boy" and he was.
However, I knew a girl that was so convinced that she was having a little boy that they did not even pick out a girls name. Needless to say, they were still struggling to name their baby girl three days after she was born.
I had said from the start that I thought we were going to have a little girl, and we found out I was right! Just something about a mommy's intuition sometimes...
I knew from the beginning it's a boy. And it is :-).
I have a little question since I'm German and I can't guess all your abbreviations. What does DH stand for? I figured out that it's either father or husband, but what are the letters for exactly? Thanks!!! Same with LO.
What about father’s intuition? Last pregnancy I had a gut feeling it was a boy but wouldn't say because I was hoping girl. On the way out the door leaving for the anatomy scan hubby tells me "it's a boy" sure enough, boy.
This time we bot have a feeling it's a girl. We'll find out later if we're right again.
Update: Girl. Hubby is gloating that he called it both times.
@goldochsi Dear Husband and Little One. Maybe someone else will post a link to the abbreviation glossary post or you can look for it with the searchildren function.
Despite having two different dreams that it was a girl, for some reason I kept thinking it was a boy. Turns out we are having a girl. But I also dreamt my baby came out of the womb talking and looked like a 3 mo old. So I'm gonna go with you have a 50/50 chance. Or else I will just have to not trust my gut the rest of this child's life!
I always trust my dreams. i had a dream a week before i found out i was pregnant that i got a positive test. Then i had a dream that it was a baby boy and it is, always trust yourself!
Yeap. I had dreams of a girl but I had a strong feeling it was going to be a boy and BOOYAH!!! its a boy. Couldnt be happpier but now im thiinking about a girl for next time and I dont know if there will be a next time because I always said I will let everyone know after the first one.
I knew DD was a girl. I think this ones a boy but we will find out in December!
For what it's worth, my last BMB did a poll about this after the babies were born with 4 options (ex: you thought it was a boy and you were right, you thought it was a boy and you were wrong, you thought girl and were right, you thought girl and were wrong). The results showed that intuition is right about half the time lol
Interestingly enough more women who thought they had boys were "right" but that may have just been that poll!
OP: I'm not so sure about intuition. I couldn't tell one way or the other with my first. I guessed girl with my second because the pregnancies were so similar, but I wouldn't say I "knew". With my third, I was pretty sure it was a boy because that pregnancy was pretty much the exact opposite of the girls. However, I was afraid to say I "knew" that time either because I wanted a boy so bad, and didn't want to be disappointed if I was wrong! This time, I again have no clue.
My grandmother has correctly predicted the sex of all her great-grandchildren. All 17 of them. I'm carrying #18 and she is predicting this one will be a girl. She just has a great intuition on LOTS of things. She knew I would marry DH after I talked to her about him the first time. She knew I was pregnant before I did both times; just had a feeling that I was pregnant.
With DS, I knew from the moment I thought I was pregnant that it was a boy. This time, I'm not sure. My dad says boy. My mom says girl (but I think that's more about her wanting one of each). DH is like me and has no idea. My cousin's daughters are hoping for a girl since they only have boy cousins. I want a healthy, uncomplicated, full-term delivery with a healthy baby.
I was wrong on both pregnancies. Was convinced it was a boy both times. Although i think i was thinking more rational than gut. When i didn't actually "think" about it, i couldn't get past a pink cupcake for a reveal. So probably deep inside i knew but my rational side was saying boy boy (since this pregnancy is very different than the first one).
I believe that a mothers intuition can be right, however I think the sex you want can cloud that intuition and trick you into thinking that's what you're having.
I had a strong feeling I was having a girl, even took girl clothes from my SIL and didnt bother taking any boy clothes. I wouldn't have bet money on it or anything but I even had dreams about holding her (we'll see if that's what she looks like after she's born )
After I found out I am having a girl my first thought was "why did I even doubt myself?"
With DD I knew it was a girl and I was right. For this one I thought boy at first but then started thinking girl. Hopefully I will find out tomorrow at the anatomy scan. DH is convinced this one is another girl. We will see
My boy came to me in my dreams at around 8 weeks. He told me his name 3 days in a row, I woke up to him repeating his name to me. I'm not sure if this counts as intuition. But I'm def having a boy and his name is what he told me in my dreams. Isaiah.
I strongly believe in the power of intuition, but it didn't work for me this time. I always thought I would have a girl first, even before I ever became pregnant. I was blind-sighted when we found out it was a boy. Still incredibly happy, just chocked because it's so different for me.
Apparently I did. I knew I was carrying a boy. Its funny because I wanted a girl but I knew it was a boy. We picked out a boy name and I never even bothered to spend 1 minute thinking about a girls name because I knew. And blood test results recently told me it was a boy lol. Guess I had an intuition.
My husband and I are going to get mocked by my parents so bad if it's a boy, we are both convinced we are having a girl. Not one person has guessed boy yet, and all the silly wives tales say girl too. Nearly all our friends have had sons over the past few years so we are convinced it's time for some ladies to join the baby circle We find out 7/30 and will be ecstatic with a health my baby regardless of the sex, but fun to anticipate/guess!
At the start of my pregnancy I thought girl, but since then I've been telling myself it's a boy. My partner and I really want a girl and I'm guessing that we keep telling ourselves it's a boy now then we won't be as disappointed if we find out it is a boy, and it's kinda working for me as I went from wanting a girl to not caring either way but weather that will be the case at our next scan will be a whole other story
We did a blood test to find out the gender and a few days before my appointment I had a dream that my doctor told me it was a boy! And my dream was right!! My husband also said from day one that it was a boy, idk if he had a feeling or if he just wanted a boy really really bad though! Lol
