I'm almost 19 weeks, and I've gained 4 so far... Lost 5-6... I've been freaking out wondering if it's safe to barely have gained anything at this point.
I'm 16w5d with twins and have only gained 0.86 of a pound, it has me concerned to but my doctors don't seem to be, as I'm eating properly. It's a little nerve racking. I've never wanted to gain weight so bad in my life.
16 weeks, 4 lbs. I started with a 7 lb deficit in the first trimester and I gained 2 of them last week at the beach, so I imagine I'll either get the extra off or not gain in the next few weeks by cleaning up my diet.
16w2d. I'm still down 12 pounds from when I found out I was pregnant. I haven't began to gain any of it back yet... I'm sure it's just a matter of time though because my naseua is finally better!..
Weight gain/weight loss doesn't really mean anything on its own unless you are discussing it in terms of BMI or give a height and starting weight as reference!!!
This makes me feel better. I just felt like I had gained so much based on the "healthy range " that the pregnancy books and websites say. It makes me feel good to know that there is a wide range or weight gained or lost! Thanks ladies!
15wks2days Up 3pounds. @lynem29 is right. Don't compare your weight gain to other peoples. For example I'm almost 6'2" and my bmi was around 26ish before I was pregnant. Considering I was slightly overweight to begin with I should gain less then someone who is underweight for example. And as long as your doctor isn't concerned you shouldn't be either.
im 18 weeks and have gained 3lbs.im already heavy for my height so im trying to be careful with my weight although with my last 2 pregnancies the most i gained was 20lbs when i was considered normal weight for my height.
