"Oh you think you're tired now? Wait till the baby comes" omg shut the hell up, thanks! I'm aware babies cry but why must people make them sound so negative?! Why can't anyone say, "wait till the baby comes, you're gonna be overwhelmed with love!!"

I hate all the negative comments! My favorite one is "omg a summer baby, that's gonna be so bad" from people that haven't experienced it!
Heartburn/reflux. Seriously, it's been bad this whole pregnancy but last night I actually woke myself up because I basically puked in my mouth. Ugh. SO GROSS.

I slept way better when my baby was born. People are dumb.
Oooh I'm still reeling over the fact that my aunts company fired me for the PTO thing. I've been told to file for unemployment but haven't as I know it will be denied. Ugh. So pissed at the situation. ROAR!!!!!
Oh I have another one. My insulin pump decided it just wanted to malfunction for no apparent reason and it told me to call customer support.. I do.. And I'm on hold for an hour... So I finally just hang up and husband does research as to how we fix it!! Thanks for erasing all of my damn settings.. It's not like I'm pregnant or anything and insulin is crucial at the moment.
Had an ultrasound that lasted over an hour today, and met with a geneticist and a few other doctors in about 3 different appointments. Also had an amnio and a bunch of blood work, ended up being a 10 hour day at the hospital. Probably one of the longest, most stressful days of my life!

Update: parents are trying to guilt trip me over the fact that I got upset with them for not sending invitations sooner. Really close to just being done with them.
I feel like throwing a tantrum! I haven't seen my baby since surgery, but my husband and family have had free reign to go and love on her in the NICU. I get it.. My bp needs to be stable, but I want my baby! ( And I haven't had any success with pumping yet. It's also causing contractions from hell!!!!!!

This NEVER STOPS. You are apparently never allowed to have a little whine about how difficult you are finding anything because, according to everyone, the next stage is always somehow much harder! Whether it's a newborn, crawling, standing, walking, talking, terrible twos, threenage years, f*cked up 4s.... Teenage years, whatever....I've been warned about them all. But I've always found each 'next stage' to be easier and more pleasant than the last.
I prefer to sympathise with whatever people are going through at that particular moment rather than trying to negate or minimise their experience.

That stinks!! I hope they're able to get the bp under control ASAP so you can go snuggle your precious little lady! And yes, the contractions you get after a c-section are horrible. Absolutely horrible. And I feel like they're worthless. I mean really, when you're contracting during labor you're just thinking about your baby so it makes them barable. But when they aren't resulting in something amazing, ugh!
@SassetteSmurfling thank you! I feel like my baby has been kidnapped. Barely slept all night bc of it! I just want them to wheel me down there bc I want to see her sweet face and her curly hair
@sjra1028 I didn't get to see LOs until 8 hours after my csection. By the time I saw them I thought I was going to turn into the Hulk if they didn't get me back there. By the time I did, I was so drugged I barely remember it Hang in there! I also didn't start to produce with a pump until 1.5-2 days in. Then I got colostrum that they put on swabs in LOs mouth until my milk came in on day 3 so keep up the hard work!
I hope you get to see your sweet LO soon @sjra1028 !! Tell them tour BP is high from anxiety of not seeing your baby, and they need to wheel you down there to fix it!!
I'm a day late but I have yet another rant about my house being for sale. The house was supposed to be taken off the market last Friday. It wasn't and now we have 2 showings scheduled this week. I thought this crap was over. I started pulling out baby stuff out of storage and did my big Amazon purchase yesterday. I Am scheduled for a csection in 40 days. If I am going to move before this baby comes it needs to happen tomorrow and I am certainly not moving before the baby is 6wks. The 1000 what if scenarios keep me awake at night. It's probably moot point because they won't want to my house anyway.

@emmacake08 I finally saw her! She took her first bottle without any problems! The NICU nurse said she acted like a 36 weeker instead of a 34 weeker! Looks like she's a paci lover too! And they gave me spoons and syringes to collect my colostrum. It's not much, but it makes me feel better!!!! @kedbach it's funny you say that bc my bp lowered quite a bit after seeing her!

STOP LIVING MY LIFE!! lol Same here. Told the realtor we were done come July, yet we're still listed. I'm just declining any showings from this point on because we've pulled out baby stuff, set up the crib and dresser, and are about to start painting. If we're stuck here we want to make the best of it and I'm not putting it off anymore.
Ours is still on the market but we started setting up our nursery too, because we haven't had one single showing. Which is bs. Oh well, I've lived in worse places.
Re: **Monday Bitchfest - 7/06**

Hope everything is okay!
