Over The Shoulder Boulder Holders

Well, the girls are making like Diana Ross and "coming out"- of every bra I own!! They were never this big last pregnancy!!
So here's my question for those who have been there and done that, how did you transition? Did you just break down and buy bigger- sized to fit or room to grow? Did you find the perfect nursing bra- and if so where?
Seriously- it's like my breasts grew two sizes last night. Or at least Lefty did, Righty is more like a size and a half. Nothing beats exploding out of all your tops like a wanton harlot on the cover of a romance novel AND being lopsided. It's such a great look.

www.glamourmom.com They have nursing bras that will stretch with you and nursing tanks. They do not have padding or underwire, but have the slings for support.

Thanks for starting this thread! First timer here & I've been thinking about asking myself. I was just about ready to go to Nordstroms & get resized & buy  2 new bras to get me through, (hopefully) to nursing. I've read elsewhere on here that I should wait until my milk comes in to really buy nursing bras b/c (GOOD LORD!) these babies are going to get even bigger! Anyone want to weigh in on that? Thanks!
  • I've already gone up two bra sizes and that was before 15w so I purchased 2 new ones, going to wait a bit longer before I get nursing bras.

Sure! The ones that I mentioned are specifically designed to grow with you through engorgement.

  • I'm starting to look for nursing bras. My boobs are out of control. I've bursted out of my 34 DDs. And I have 2 huge stretch marks on my boobs now! What is this crap?! Ugh. Lol
  • There are a couple threads about bras. Try searching for good brands and tips

I have ordered from Linda the bra lady before and been very happy. I am a 32g normally so I have to have a very supportive bra.

Ugh! Don't get me started on the stretch marks!! I carried twins until 23 weeks and they were never this big and I never had the ugly blue vein thing going on!! Yikes!!

I bought two cheap nursing bras from target to wear for now, they seem like they should accommodate some growth so they may work but I do plan to buy two more with a better fit if breastfeeding works out like I hope.
  • I too need to get some new bras. I usually always get my push ups from Victoria's Secret but I've been wearing sports bras every day (when I actually leave the house and am forced to cover up lol). I got a cheap one at Walmart that is wonderful, and still has pads but no wire. But I'm busting out of that one too and one of my boobs has decided it wants to grow faster than my other one... -_- so now I got a slightly bigger boob, hopefully it's not noticeable
  • SO swears it's not noticeable in my clothes, but when I showed him in just a bra he smiled. I'm so dang lopsided!

I think I'm just going to find some cheapos to get me through and see where I end up. :)
  • I can't wear my regular bra for very long. I live in my sports bra right now! Not flattering but it's comfy!!! When I wear my regular bra I look like wanton harlot on a romance novel cover as @Beckah31 put it!!! That is the best description for these boobs!!!!!! I guess I'll eventually break down and buy a new bra for when I go back to work in a few weeks. Just don't know what kind I want.....new underwire to hold up these huge girls or nursing comfy bra?!?!? Oh!!! The decision I must make!!!

    Edit because it reposted. :)
  • I went from a 34B to a 34D by 11 weeks. I looked like I had 4 girls in my old bras. Victoria's Secret had a big sale and I got 3 new ones for hardly anything. I know it won't be long before these retire too. Mine are growing like mad.

Personally I can't stand nursing bras.  I just don't think they have the proper support for my triple Ds.  I just broke down and bought a couple of new bras on sale - didn't care if they weren't the prettiest as I knew once I delivered they wouldn't fit anymore.  The only thing was I had to buy a few more without underwire closer to delivery because I was carrying high and I was just uncomfortable with the bras digging into my stomach.

  • Im falling out of my 42F and im thinking about just getting sports bras until i am " full grown"
  • I was part of the itty bitty titty committee and happily so. Now I've gone up to b cups and they're just in the way! Bought a cheap bra from target. First time in my life I've had cleavage and I don't like it!
  • I bought a new one at nordstrom at 7 wks, felt so much better! I went in for a nude bra at 13 wks and she put me in the next size up so I have room to grow but that hurt even more with the underwire being too big!

By the way anniversary sale starts soon so there will be awesome deals on good bras!!
  • OMG, YES. My 34DDs have ballooned to 36Gs. It's outrageous--I feel like I'm all boobs and belly (will I fall over in my 3rd trimester?). I had to go wireless because underwires were killing me and I found Hot Milk nursing bras (I know, weird name) on Amazon, which are actually really supportive and don't give me the "uniboob" that other wireless or sportsbras do. I'm going to try Cakye and Tanzky brands next and see how they work because they actually look super cute.
  • I swear my boobs were 2 sizes bigger by the time I took a pregnancy test (although no one would ever accuse me of being well-endowed). They seemed to return to closer to normal within about 10 days (6 weeks pregnant). I think I am up one size now, I have been putting off bra shopping but I am down to 2 normal bras plus sports bras. I need to get measured but the closest stores for that are over an hour from here...I will have to do it soon!
  • I went and bought a new bra yesterday. Previously a 34FF, now a 38H. Wtf????!!!!
