My SOand I went for a day lunch trip on Juky 3rd about an hour away from our house. As we got done with lunch, we were walking around downtown and my water broke. My OB told me to go to the hospital there to get checked. We did the hurried back your hometown so I could shower. The we headed two hours to our delivering hospital. I ended up being in labor for 26 hours and the OB decided to do a c section. We delivered a 9 lbs baby boy. He was too big and sunny side up so thy was the reason for being in labor for so long. Now that he is here I am so in love!
My husband works a lot so I'm running a high chance of him being at work when this all goes down so might just settle for a phone call and I'll meet ya there lol

Same here! I told him he's not allowed to go to any jobs more than 20 minutes from the hospital especially since we live 20 minutes outside of town! Hoping I go into labor at night when he's home tho.
FTM and My water broke at 1230 am (I was "peeing" every 10-15 mins) when I was 37w 2d. Hubby is a police officer and I had to call him bc he was working. Got to the hospital bc i was group b positive and they confirmed it and said I was having contractions 5 mins apart lasting about a min- couldn't even feel em! Around 8 am I started to feel them more and I was 3.5 cm and 100% effaced. We walked around and labored for 3 hours and the doc checked me at 11 am- I was exactly the same as 8 am and very disappointed! They started me on pitocin and the pain was out of this world. By 1220 pm I was 5 cm and my hubby made me stick to my guns and not get an epidural- instead I got a non narcotic in my IV that would give me about an hour of pain relief. At about 115 I had 3 contractions in a row that my body was pushing with and I had the nurse check me - 10 cm and crowning!!! I pushed for about an hour and our little girl was here! Right as she was born the pain basically went away as recovery has honestly been about a 1 or a 2 pain level on a scale of 1-10. I think I said "I did it babe!!" About a hundred times in that hour after she was born!
