I think for the most part is sounds like you are trying to hard to give your kid a cool name.

He's a cute boy - around 7/8 I think. I've never thought bad about the name and never heard any comments about his name (well as far as I know)

Big Brothers are Dakota and Chase. Not trying to find him a "cool" name, just one that would go with the other two. Thoughts? I am open for other suggestions We are due in 4 weeks and no name yet ... help!

I do not think it goes with Dakota and Chase at all.

My sons name is CruZ... Loooove it and if you can't stop thinking about a name use it.... I have baby 8 on the way and we are stumped on a name.. All of our others were like bam... That's it... Good luck!

I think the Beckhams have a Cruz. And I don't like names that remind me of celebs. Cruz is not my style, but I do think it goes well with the others. How about Archer (Archibald), Sebastian, Miles...

My only issue is that you have a child with a "C" name so for me it's all or none, either all children start with the same initial or none do.

I think it works really well in the middle name spot for a lot of names. I don't think I would use it in the FN spot. It's not substantial enough (length-wise) for me personally.

I agree that it seems like you're trying to name your son something "cool."

I like something like Grant, Reid, Owen, Ian, or Isaac much better with brothers names.
