Anyone get an early ultra sound?

im 10.5 weeks I have really regular periods so I know my dates are accurate but my midwife said my uterus felt a little bigger so next week I'm getting an ultra sound. I'm super excited!! Just curious if anyone has had this. Also this is baby number 4 for me.

It is possible your dates are off! And although early ultrasounds aren't standard, a lot of times if there are questions (like in your case), the Dr. Will perform one

My midwife scheduled a "dating" scan because she knew about my previous loss and wanted to give me piece of mind. Even though I had only guesstimated two days off! Yay for early ultrasounds!

I had one aty first appt which was Monday and I thought I was 11w. Due to military training I couldn't get an appt earlier. The ultrasound dated to 12w4d. Big difference I think based off my last period but we did have sex once prior to the time that I thought actually sealed the deal so who knows.

My doctor also had me go for an early ultrasound because she thought I was further along because my uterus was higher. My period is bang on so I knew I was 9.4weeks along. I ended up seeing my bean with a strong HR and my date was bang on. My doctor told me it could be because I lost my first one and got pregnant so quickly afterwards that my uterus was ready to rise.

I had one at my first appt at 6 weeks. There's not even really anything to see. Lol.

They did mine at 8 weeks with an internal wand. I never knew they did it that way! LoL But it was able to get an amazing picture. My husband and i cried LoL it made it so real to see a little one floating around in there

I had one at 7 weeks to date the pregnancy and another at 10 weeks because they couldn't find the heartbeat with Doppler and I was a mess. Very exciting to see a healthy baby

I have three boys and with my last, I remember the ultrasound tech telling me to take my pants off! I had never had an internal one and was freaked out!! Lol they never did that with my first two. But I'll be prepared with this one! Wednesday can't come soon enough! I love ultra sounds!!

I had one at 7w both abd and TV. We got to see the baby and hear the HB. I had a very unusual light period that I was worried was spotting so they did a dating scan.

It definitely made things more real!

I had one at 8 weeks and will have one this week at 13 weeks. My old ob only did ones at 12 and 20, so I'm loving this

I had an early ultrasound for dating purposes since I didn't have a period between having a miscarriage and getting pregnant again. It was definitely a huge relief to see a strong, little heartbeat.
