Depends on when baby comes. My mom is planning to come stay with me for 3 weeks, so if baby comes when mom is here, he wil probably only take a day or two, or just work half days. If baby comes early, he'll probably take a week and then go back to work doing half days, depending on how the transition goes for us.
Hoping baby comes on a Friday so DH will be able to spend the weekend with us l, otherwise he will be there for me to push and spend about half the day with me and the baby before he has to return to work:/
Depends when LO decides he's ready to be born. If he comes in the first half of August then DH will only be able to be off work while I'm in labor and for the rest of the day of delivery because we can't afford him to be off any longer unpaid. His vacation time resets august 19th tho so he can take a week off then if he wants.
He is taking 1 week vacation, and then working from home for as long as I need it which depending on delivery will probably be another 2 weeks or so. Last time I had a c/s and he stayed home for 2 weeks and that worked out fine.
6 weeks. DH gets 2 weeks paternity leave plus he has been saving his 2 weeks of vacation time and hasnt used any sick time this year either. I will most likely need a c-section and he works 3rd shift so it will be nice to actually have him home!
4 weeks unpaid. He has been working overtime the last two months so we can put away the extra money for him to be able to take that time off. Luckily I work from home so I will still get paid which helps as well. I am excited to have him be able to be there with me especially because we are both first time parents!
