@AmadorRose Thats usually me. I like reading better (Im a dramatic romance lover) and/or social media hopper so I am constantly doing something else while he is watching TV or a movie.. Ill catch bits and pieces. Maybe thats why I don't get most of it, Im not even paying attention. "> )
Interesting jobs! I'm a social worker in a hospital. Used to work inpatient and in the last few years transitioned to outpatient. It's interesting but very taxing!
Another RN here! I work prn in the PACU and sometimes in the OR. I have super flexible hours (NO 12hr shifts here!!) and just love my department......I will stay prn after the babies are born, maybe working 1-2 days a week (a little less than I do now!) we also have a 3 yr old and an 11 yr old and my husband works long hours and commutes 1.5 hrs each way to work, so my hands will be full enough with 2 newborns!!
Hm. Had you asked me a month ago I would have said I am a Reactor Operations Engineer and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my job (amazing bosses etc etc).
And rant (sorry this has been so frustrating).
I got a promotion last year with the understanding I would work full time from home. DH moved to San Diego for work while I stayed here to get the paperwork set up.
THE DAY AFTER I FOUND OUT we were expecting, a boss three levels above decided I can only work 24 hours. I was pissed.
DH's job is taking us overseas to a higher cost of living area. I was and am so angry. 24 hours equates to about no dollars after daycare for 2.
So I am debating whether to find a new job or take the 24 hours and try to start an online consignment store that specializes in pregnancy clothes.
Sorry for the rant. It's been really stressful. I wish I were making this story up.

I'm sorry about your job..but an online maternity consignment store caught my interest!
I'm a farmer. We have a family farm, where my husband does more of the day to day work, and I help out seasonally driving equipment. Combines, tractors, semis, plows, cultivator, and planters.
I am a behavior therapist for children, mostly diagnosed with autism. I'm finishing grad school this month and will be siting for an exam. By January I will hopefully be a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA).
Me (29) + DH (30) | Dating 2003 | Married 2008 DS - 02/21/2016
I am finishing up my fellowship in primary care mental health integration. I'll finish in August and start as a pain psychologist a few weeks later. I accepted the position in March and am trying to determine the best time to tell them I'm pregnant.
I am a senior staff tax accountant at a CPA firm. I work a lot of long hours and have all the requirements I need to sit for the CPA exam, I just need to study my ass off for the next year to pass all four parts. yikes! The day after I found out I was expecting I had my mid year review, all good things and most likely expecting a promotion in December. We will see how it all goes once they find out I am Pregnant and will be on maternity leave in our most busiest part of the year. I swear I didn't plan it that way, but YAY it worked out that way! Evil Grin! Oh an Btw US citizens, don't expect much tax help from your little one. the child credit is phasing out for more and more for couples. And the medical deductions must surpass 10% of your adjusted gross income to see any benefit on itemizations for 2016.
