@SidneyElizabeth1012 I think I come off super blunt on the Internet. My voice is kind of high and sing song-y so being direct in real life works. Sorry
@CMDD it's A-Okay! I can come off super sarcastic through the internet if I don't over use smiley faces or say 'haha' and 'lol'. In person I'm super bubbly and overly nice so I understand the struggle.
I'm sure I am gonna hear a lot of lip about this, but here goes .... my UO is "It takes a village to raise a child". If my child/teenager gets caught stealing from someone and I'm not around to whoop him/her myself I would HOPE the person my child stole from would give them a whipping. The only time I would step in is if the person was popping my child anywhere else except for the booty.
I just really hope you wouldn't lay your hand on someone else's child.
I guess this may be an unpopular opinion... If ANYONE ever lays a hand on my child, they will not be seeing my child again. My fil was, in my opinion, abusive, to my DH's opinion I guess "disciplinarian" to his children. He has done a lot for us but that won't stop me from cutting him out of our life if he crosses a line, and that line is my child's behind!
My UO is, I HATE baby/kids clothing with crap on the front of it, ie. cartoon characters, dinosaurs, cars, etc. I'm going to be the worst most boring mom ever! X_X
@Jeterpants haha totally agree. I have a 3 year old who loves dinasour, cartoon characters and cars. The struggle is real! I just make sure i buy his pjs with all of them things on so he just wears them in the house X_X
@breezypip ... I would NEVER lay a hand on anyone else's child because not everyone has the same views as I and my community do.
*edit: I wanted to add that I would never spank someone else's child unless the parent says, "If my child falls out of line you may spank them." ... if not, then the child is sent to timeout if they act up. This is how my community runs ... I have fallen into line with the community beliefs because, well, I was born and raised here.
This week my UO is that I HATE unsolicited advise from other moms. My sister in law has two kids under age two and that suddenly makes her super mom and she knows everything there is to know about motherhood and childbirth. She's constantly throwing advise my way, things I already know and then takes credit for "providing me" knowledge and wisdom I never even asked for. If I'm not asking you what you did or how something felt don't tell me, I don't care! Let me learn how you did, through my own experience.

Re: UO 7/2
Ugh especially when there's a whole board dedicated just to baby names! \:D/
