That doesn't sound good. I would recommend giving a call to you OB or PCP. Weird cramps and pangs happen, but they aren't typically sensitive to the touch.
I know this is TMI but can it be gas? The other night I was stuck at a meeting for work and was so hungry when I got home I guess shoveling food into my mouth and the hunger pains gave me such horrible pains in my stomach and lower abdomen that I thought I was going to cry.
If the pain does not get any better I would call the doctor just to be safe.
I don't think gas would be painful to touch. I know I have had some of the worst gas pains of my life while pregnant but it never hurts worse when I touch my stomach. I would agree with PP and call your OB and see what they think.
have you been wearing anything that would be considered really tight? i know my stomach hurt when I tried to button my pants past the point where I should be...
I'm assuming you're here in the states. If that is the case I would bug them again if you don't hear back relatively soon. Most offices will be closed tomorrow through the holiday weekend.
if you don't hear back from them I would go to the ER if it doesn't stop. I had a bleeding issue friday of MDW and my doctor was like itll be ok I'll talk to you tuesday and I was like...NOPPPPPPE. Don't sit around thinking about it all weekend.
Hate to be super negative but I would worry it was my appendix! Definitely go to at least urgent care if you can! (Bonus- if this motivates you to go lol, you'll probably get an ultrasound!)
I spoke to another doctor in the practice. She said she wouldn't worry about it because it is only superficial pain and not deeper. She says that reviewing my chart, my uterus is already the size of one at 14-16 weeks since I'm expecting twins and it sounds like round ligament pain.
Also, the practice has someone on call 24/7 for emergencies even over the holiday weekend.
I get really sharp pains from bad gas... This sounds AWFUL but I can't even pass wind sometimes so I run a warm bath and soak in it til my muscles relax and I can get rid of the gas.

Sounds disgusting, but honestly works
