2nd Trimester

When Did everyone start showing?

I'm 16 and a half weeks and i know everyone carries differently, but I've noticed so many others are pop big time around now and I still feel as though I hardly have a bump. I'm just curious to know if anyone is showing or not really showing at the moment?

Re: When Did everyone start showing?

  • Ftm. I started showing at around 16 weeks but could notice the change myself around 15, now I'm 22 and strangers are commenting and asking when I'm due. No hiding this belly anymore. I'm 5'4 and have always thought I had an awkwardly short torso so there's really nowhere to go but out.

  • 26ish weeks. I have a retroverted uterus so bubs is sitting pretty far back and that made me show later. Until that point I just looked hella bloated for a couple of months...not pregnant looking but definitely not my normal physique, if you know what I mean.

  • I started showing at 10 weeks but this isn't my first pregnancy and as I understand it, you show sooner and fee movement earlier in subsequent pregnancies. I'm 14.3 weeks now and went to the ER because I thought something was wrong and Triage checked my dates because they didn't believe I was less than 20 weeks, lol...they really thought I miscalculated my dates because I look like I'm 17-20 weeks along...lol
  • I'm 14 weeks and have a very clear bump; Fiance and I noticed my bump around 10 weeks and I was noticeably showing around 12 weeks.... This is my first pregnancy. However I have a very slender frame AND my uterus naturally angles outward.... So it's only natural I would show a bit sooner.
  • My bloat turned to a squishy bump at around 16 ish weeks, but it's only at 21 weeks that my bump has turned into a proper, solid, round baby bump.

Barely starting to show a little bit at 14 weeks. Hard to tell though with some of the dresses I wear. I'm a pretty petite person so I don't think my baby bump will get too massive.
  • I'm almost 22 weeks and I have a bump, but I don't consider it an obvious baby bump. It still only looks like I'm bloated or ate too much - as the lady at the store told me - "I can't even tell you're pregnant, it just looks like you ate a really good hamburger". I'm pretty short and slender to begin with so thought maybe it'd be more noticeable, but no, not really!
  • 12 1/2 weeks my bump became something I couldn't contain. First pregnancy as well. I had already told everyone so I wasn't trying to hide it, but I can't cover it with shirts and pants, or even suck in in the slightest anymore. However, I feel like maybe some strangers might just think I'm fat, but I think it looks like a tiny bump
  • 19 weeks and I have a small little bump that people are starting to notice

  • At week 16 but it's still really small I can wear most of my pre pregnancy pants.
  • So with gas, I was basically bumped out since 9 weeks.

I'm actually smaller now that the gas is under control. I'm 15 weeks now and am showing. But i'm tiny. And not just tiny, I have a very short torso. I will show a lot before this is over.

My husband and close family members noticed at about 10 weeks. I'm 14+1 now and definitely showing.
  • I started noticing about 15 weeks. By 17 weeks, I have completely popped to have a rounded belly and switched to maternity pants.
  • I got bloated a lot, but by week 18-19 realised bloat belly turned to baby bump. I think every body and pregnancy is so different though, kind of hard to compare! I feel like I am huge at almost 20 weeks but people regularly comment that I am small. I guess that depends on perception :)
  • I started showing around 22 weeks and finally had to break down and by maternity clothes
  • I am 25 weeks and just barely showing. I am noticably heavier, but I don't have a "baby bump."
  • I will be 25weeks tomorrow && started showing at 16 weeks

I am 15 weeks today & my bump is very noticeable unless I'm wearing a super flow-y shirt. Most of pants really became nearly impossible to button as early as 10 weeks! I'm also short at 5'3" w a small frame. I'm ready to stop trying to hide it this next week at work though!
  • My belly is starting to become more rounded... I'm 20weeks! I'm also getting the dark line going down my belly!
  • FTM 14+2 i was very bloated with IBS from 8 weeks. Bloat has now improved alot. But i cant hide the bump... my tummy is firm up to my belly button!
  • My little bump was first visible at about 16 weeks, and really popped out at 18 weeks. I'm 22w4d now & unmistakably pregnant. OP- it could be quite a while before you start showing. Once you do have a big bump, though, it becomes a magnet for ALL of your food (I look like such a slob, but I swear I'm not really), and you'll be sore all the time. Lol

  • Love hearing everyone's experiences, I'm almost 19 weeks now and just in the last 2 weeks my bump has grown loads, still not a defined bump but it's definitely there and getting harder! Plus I'm starting to feel bubba move a fair bit. It's so amazing :)
  • I had nothing up until 10 weeks then suddenly with 2 weeks other people started noticing I was pregnant. Now I'm at just over 13 weeks and was told by a lady at work I am abit over weight. I am not tiny but never been fat. So now do I look fat and not pregnant?
  • I started showing really early, this is my first baby I started showing a little at about 14 weeks now I'm showing more at 18 weeks, I had the same I'm small built
  • I am 21 weeks right now and am barely showing ! You can somewhat tell when I wear a bathing suit but I just look a little fatter not really pregnant !
  • I started getting noticeably rounder at 12 weeks. This is my second pregnancy and I'm having twins.
  • FTM, will be 26 weeks Tuesday and I started showing at 9 weeks.
  • This is my first pregnancy, and I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow. I have a "barely there bump", that is only noticeable when I'm undressed. As of my last appointment (at wk 15), I hadn't gained a pound, so I'm working on it. Funny thing is, I feel so much bigger than I am.

I started getting noticeably rounder at 12 weeks. This is my second pregnancy and I'm having twins.

Congrats!! I was kind of hoping for twins for a while.
  • 12 weeks. I tend to pop because I have a small frame and all my pregnancy weight gain is in my bump.

Im 14wks and i have a bump already. This is my second child. Im 4'11 so my bumps tend to show early. And my first child was 8lbs 13oz so i looked like i had a basketball under my shirt. I only gained weight in my belly for the first. It is seeming to be the same so far for this one.
  • I started showing as early as eight wks. I'm 23 wks now and everyone ask me am I having twins or thinks I'm due in about a month instead of in 4 mths

I am 16w3d and i've had a little bump for a few weeks now.  However it has been in the last week that now everyone else is noticing
  • I'm 20 weeks today and I'm still not showing. I'm really bloated so everyone thinks it's a bump.. It's kind of annoying! I want to look pregnant, not like I need to lay off the ice cream!! OB says it's because I'm so tall and physically active.
