Inducing tonight!

i will be going to the hospital to be induced due to gestational hypertension tonight! I'm 39wks 1day.. I'm also a FTM and have absolutely no idea what to expect! Please say a quick prayer for my sweet baby boy and me! My husband and I are extremely excited but also extremely nervous! Cannot believe I'll be a mom in less than 48 hours!

Miles was born yesterday at 9:18 pm! He weighed 7.13 and was 20.5 inches long! After softening my cervix Dr. Broke my water and started pitocin around 12:30.. Was in hard labor forever it seemed like... Got epidural at 7:15.. Dilated to an 8 finally at 8:00 and to a 10 by 9:00! Starting pushing and out he came at 9:18!! It was a positive experience and so glad my sweet little man is here with me!

Good luck hope everything is going good I was induced with DS1 because of preclampsia everything turned our good don't worry the body already knows what to do once it all gets started
