I will be 39 weeks on Wednesday and have gained 45 pounds.
Try not to stress about the weight too much. I figure as long as you keep moving and aren't eating fast food and ice cream every day, you are doing just fine!
Im 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I have gained no extra weight. I was 61 kg lost 2 kg in beginning then back to my pre pregnancy weight. I have always been worried but doctor doesnt seem so. Had a presentation scan last week estimated baby weight was 7 lbs.. I really need to pop now can't take no more!
38 weeks/33 lbs. everyone still says they can't believe I'm this far along and that my belly is small, so, I'm ok with the weight gain. Can't wait to get it off, but pleased with myself I didn't put on 60+ like some of my girlfriends have. I swear, the majority of it has went to my boobs!
38 weeks today and 36 pounds gained - I actually lost a pound this week. I paid a little more attention to what I ate this time around and it seemed to help. I am down 6 lbs. from my last pregnancy.
BFP 1/24/2012 - DS Born 9/22/2012 (11 days early!)

36 weeks & as of last week I had gained 35. I'm with lots of you all, trying not to stress about weight gain-- eating moderately well, but also not depriving myself when I want something yummy. This is a temporary situation, so I'm going to enjoy a large milkshake from time to time
@ 36 w am about 10 lbs less than w/ last pgn. Am considered obese, w/ 32 BMI so I've tied to work out daily and not gain more than 10 lbs total.cwent down 10 beg of pgn for no reason, just like w/ previous pgn, and am only up about 6-7. NP said baby won't probably gain more than 1 more lb. after last US measured him @ 6.6 lbs. not to say than PP i'll be any less than lowest wgt during this pgn (205) for 5'9"...if i get below 200 pp it will be the 1st time in over, like15 yrs. maybe!
I had lost 15 Pounds before 28 weeks because I was unable to keep down any food. I had to count calories to make sure I ate enough food a day. Once the nausea went away I was able to gain that weight back plus 12 Pounds. I am 39 weeks 4 days. I'm a ftm but at my birthing class she mentioned women gain nearly 20 pounds of extra fluid, blood, and the increased size of the uterus so all the weight isn't fat.
Almost 40, I'm sure by the end of the week it'll be a solid 40 freaking pounds. I don't know why it surprises me, I've done this twice before and the first one I gained like 60+ because I was so lazy! I still stress about the weight gain, moms these days are held to such a high standard of what people think we should look like after a baby (or three!). I'm already thinking about all the salads and green smoothies I'll be eating instead of the yummy home cooked meals I make for my guys. This too shall pass!
I have gained 34 so far and im 37w 3d..which im very happy with cuz i gained 70 with my first...i think the seasons make a difference. First was a winter baby and since this one is a summer baby im out and about a lil more..the last 3 weeks i was putting on 10 lbs a week soo i could still shot up...i was back to pre pregnancy weight in 6 weeks so im def not worried!
I am 38 weeks and have put on 55lbs. My body likes to get fluffy during pregnancy, but all of my stats are really good so I try not to be super vain about it. It's that damn 30lb placenta of mine.....*looks side to side
At 36w I was up 62 pounds from the day I got my BFP. Y'all can pick your jaws up from the floor now. I just gain a TON when pregnant, and eventually it will come off.
Me too and thank goodness someone else besides me has the courage to say it!!!
Who freaking cares? I gained 70 with my daughter and 65 this time. I lost it all with her, and I'll do it again. I work out, I eat well though not perfectly and I have had not a single complication with either baby. This is my body and my baby and it's just how it is. I'm creating life, do I really need to measure my success at that in pounds?
Had my appointment today so I asked... I've gained 6 lbs since I started seeing my OB at around 18 weeks but I'm actually down 14 lbs since getting pregnant. Dr isn't worried about my weight because baby is healthy and growing, I had been eating like crap before and started doing better when I found out I was pregnant and he knows this.
I am currently 36 weeks +5 days and I've gained 2 pounds so far. I am 5'6" and started at 166lbs. With my first pregnancy I gained 27lbs and delivered at 36wks+2days. Doctor isn't worried because baby is growing, at 35 week ultrasound baby was approximately 5lbs 14ozs.
