i almost made a pretty huge mistake this weekend. Found a used double stroller online at a good price. Set up a time with the lady to buy it. Sunday morning I decided to search for some extra parts, and when I typed in the stroller name a recall was the first thing that popped up. So my psa of the day, is any used equipment you are thinking of buying, check for a recall first. This lady had no idea it had been recalled, so probably never registered it. Which also leads to, take the 5 minutes to register all of your products that you buy new.

    I picked up myself some treats this weekend... I have looked at some travel sets online but thinking that is one thing I would really want new just incase

    Normally if you contact the manufacturer, they will send you a new one or the parts needed to fix it if it's on a recall list. My mom had a second hand crib and they sent her the parts needed for the recall.

    I'm pretty much waiting for the Holiday bargains/Black Friday to purchase my big items.  I think they will be cheapest then.

    It totally depends on the recall type. Sometimes the recall is for the entire item and can't just be fixed for a part replacement. Buying second hand can sometimes affect your ability to recover under a recall as well (I think).

    I'm waiting to buy diapers until we hear hb and hit 12 weeks. I'm all about getting diapers when they are on sale so when the baby arrives we don't have to go buy them.

    Everything else we mostly have... Except if it's a boy- then we have no clothes BUT he can use pink combs, nail clippers, etc.

    I do want a diff breast pump this time, I had an ameda but I didn't like it very much so I'm getting Medela this time.
