Are there any free adoption agencies in PA or NJ?

My husband and I have been ttc for 9 months now. I am 37 and he is 38. We really want a baby and it just doesnt seem to be happening for us. We wanted to do infertility treatments but cant afford them now we are looking to adopt but are realizing just how expensive that is.. I am so hoping someone out there can provide some hope for us.

You can get grants. And a lot of adoption expenses are tax refundable. Also, fostering to adoption is significantly cheaper than going through an agency. Finally, private adoption attorneys are cheaper than agencies normally but it might take a while for placement.

In NJ, you will need a non-profit agency to complete your home study. Your homestudy must be completed, yearly, in whichever state you live in. You can also go through the start department of child and welfare for foster to adopt. It is just more affordable.

    Best wishes!
