My half sister has a leap day birthday and so does her great grandmother. What are the odds of that huh? we always tease her when actual leap day comes around about her "real" age.
I was asking my uncle about his leap day birthday and he hated it. Though it'd be pretty neat. He's only like 8 years old "technically" lol He also said they made him wait until March 1 to get his license and buy liquor.
I'm due 2/25 and my birthday is 2/28. Im definitely wondering if I'll be in labor on my birthday, if I'll have my baby on my birthday or if I'll have a leap baby. All exciting possibilities- I'll just have to have my birthday glass of wine a couple days later
Mine is the 24 but I know I ovulated late so it's possible. Dh and I talked about it already, we will have a cs so chances are slim it would be on that date
I'm due the 27th and my birthday is on the 14th. I have to admit that when I was single I hated being a Valentine baby. I think it would be cool to have a baby on Leap Day, but I'm not sure how fun it would be for the kid! Maybe they would love it.
One of my best friends has a leap year birthday and she hates it. I'm pretty sure I would too if I've only had 4 (or so - I'm too tired to figure it out) real birthdays. The concept is cool, but I don't wish that upon my child at all so I'm really hoping he/she isn't really late (due 21st). My first two were both quite early so I'm hoping I am in the clear but I've got my fingers crossed regardless.

Baby #3 due February. Dx with Spina Bifida Myelo "good things are coming down the road, just don't stop walking"
My baby is due on Leap Day. Both of my previous pregnancies resulted in perfect, healthy babies born on their due dates. Only 5% of babies are born on their due date. I'm 2 for 2 so far. So hubby and I joke that we should just "book a suite" for the due date cuz baby is coming that day. In this case, that means Leap Day.
I'm due on the 28th so it's definitely possible for us. I'll be happy whenever a healthy kiddo is born, but I also wouldn't be upset if baby waited a few days longer and made it to March!
I'm gonna be that person who points out that we are all having leap YEAR babies, though some of you might have a leap DAY baby. I'm due early Feb so no luck for me on that unique date.
I am a leap year baby. I'm due the 11th so far too early to have the chance of my baby being born on the 29th and I am thankful for it. It is a conversation starter but it also comes with some hassle and, of course, not having a birthday every year. I'm sure those of you with an annual birthday feel like it takes forever and the day just flies by. Imagine waiting four years for one day. It's very anticlimactic. But, to be optimistic, it can be fun to make each year special for your child. Make your own traditions. And just make sure your insurance recognizes the 29th as a day. Doctors visits and pharmacy pickups can be a pain. ;-)
Haven't had my dating ultrasound yet (long story...) but estimated due date is the 28th based on LMP. I am hoping not for a leap day baby just because I feel like it would be had to explain to a little kiddo and a pain throughout life. Just another one of the many things that I can't control in this process. It's going to take the whole 9 months plus more for me to get over my Type A control habits!
My EDD is 2/29 also!! I'm totally excited about having a leap year baby although I don't know if my baby growing up will be excited about being born on leap day lol we'll see! Can't wait!
I was supposed to be born Feb 29 but I was just over midnight so I'm March 1st. Would be kinda cool if baby bird is born Feb 29, my due date is Feb 25 but who knows!
I'm due February 28! My husband really wants a leap year baby...I'm a Christmas Eve baby so I feel like I never get to celebrate my birthday on my actual day so I'm hoping not leap year so every year my baby will have his/her own date!
I'm gonna be that person who points out that we are all having leap YEAR babies, though some of you might have a leap DAY baby. I'm due early Feb so no luck for me on that unique date.

Ha ha! This totally went through my head too!
I know it's really not a big deal, but for some reason it drives me nuts. Oh well...
Oh wow! I didn't even realize it was going to be leap year. But since my EDD is 2/21, and they might let me wait until 41 weeks before having a c section and they don't schedule c sections on Saturdays or Sundays, I may very well be scheduled for Monday, February 29th. Although I'm hoping to go into labor on my own for my last chance at a vaginal birth, if that doesn't happen then it's a cool consolation prize.

I'm due Mar 1 and so a leap year baby is completely possible. I'm on the fence as to whether it would be cool or not.
