Hi Ladies! Quick question... have any of you not gone under anesthesia for an egg retrieval? I go in tomorrow morning at 7 am (Czech time) and I can decide if I want anesthesia or not. (I am a poor responder -- I have for sure one follicle and maybe a second to be retrieved -- totally devestated with my low numbers) I know anesthesia is hard on the body and the doc said that I didn't have to go under for so few but I am scared of the pain. Any thoughts?

Re: No anesthesia for egg retrieval?
So I'm not sure how painful the procedure itself is, especially if they only retrieve a few but I'd hate for you to be in unnecessary pain or have such a bad experience with it that you fear your transfer.
