Horrible heartburn and acid reflux waking me up and keeping me up at night. Burning in my throat is awful
Took a Pepcid. No luck
Help!

  • My doctor told me to take mallox and I've been taking it right before bed and it has helped a lot!

  • A shot of apple cider vinegar before bed has helped with my reflux.

  • Try and eat smaller meals throughout the day instead of bigger ones. I struggle with acid reflux and heartburn too, especially now that morning sickness has subsided and all I want to do is eat! Eating smaller meals has helped a bit with mine. I also use Zantac or tums
  • Been using TUMS at night before bed

    I'm so hungry but I avoid eating and even drinking water bc I just burp it up and when I lay down its like Fire in my throat
  • Zantac hunny. Been my best friend since the beginning. Still have to take two a day. I don't know why I thought it would get better the closer I got to delivering! I'm quickly finding that ain't the case! It's worse for me.
  • I drink milk!! And watch what I eat and drink before bed... Even water gives me heartburn.
  • I keep a big bottle of tums by the bed in addition to my reflux prescrition. Milk has also been really good for the throat burning if you like milk. My hubby and I go through a gallon in less than two days.

  • I drink a glass of chocolate milk & a Zantac.
    Tums used to work for me, but weren't cutting it anymore.
    I also noticed I wasn't hungry for supper in the evenings, but was making myself eat bc I felt guilty. I talked to my dr & she said that I was probably just full & eating was filling my already full belly even fuller (ugh!) which was making me reflux unbearable & causing me to actually get sick.

  • Try pickles and pickle juice. The vinegar neutralizes your acid. It works for me. I eat pickles throughout the day and before bed.

    Really?! I would NEVER have thought to try something acidic
  • The only thing that I found subsides heartburn are the Walmart brand strawberry antacid chews.
  • I thought the same thing but apparently vinegar is known to help with heartburn. Which is odd. I've read it online a few times. And I eat pickles for heartburn and definitely notice it helps!
