Could i be pregnant?

Hello everyone, i am new here! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant the past 4 months without any luck. This month is different. When we got married in September 2014 i quit taking my bcp. This month my period is 3 days late ( not too normal for me). I am usually 1 to 2 days late then I start. I also have not had any "feeling" that AF is coming anytime soon. I have had way more than normal white creamy discharge, nausea ( riding in a car) which i never get. I have been extremely bloated and very tired (way more than normal). My breast are a little tender, but more full, accompanied by some mild cramping ( not like AF) and back ache. Could there a possibility that I am pregnant? Any advice/experiences are welcome and appreciated! Thanks

Really? REALLY? You know what , i bet you are knocked up, with twin boys. You will prolly start showing at 6 weeks. Good luck!

Right so here's the thing:

You have either thought to consult a room full of strangers for their opinions before taking a HPT to check

OR

You have taken a HPT and didn't like what you saw so now you are asking a room full of strangers to tell you the opposite.

Your AF is late, that means that the HPT has a 99% accuracy rate. Sadly my crystal ball can't compete.

Sweetie, there is no way a group of strangers can tell you if you are pregnant. IF you have speculations, get a test and pee on it to find out! if its negative, try again next cycle. if its positive - hip-hip-hoorah! for you!

The thing is, unless OP was charting her temp and KNOWS her O date, she doesn't KNOW that she's actually late. My cycle is typically 31 days. One month in the last two years, it was 39 days, just for funsies. My period wasn't late; I just ovulated later than usual. Random long cycles can happen.

OP, if you've peed on a stick and it's negative, you are not pregnant at this time. Take an HPT once a week until you get your period or a positive. If you go 60 days without a period, call your doctor; they can give you something to re-start your cycle.

If you haven't peed on a stick yet, then I can't help you. Who seriously can think that a random Internet forum with strangers can know if you are pregnant better than an HPT? This concept does not compute for me....

Maybe we should just start telling people to place their bare stomachs against the computer/phone screens. Then. At the EXACT SAME TIME we place OUR hands on the computer/phone screen and try to get a sense of pregnancy. I'm sure at least one of us is a psychic and will be able to tell if they're pregnant or not. Duh.

Pregnancy tests are 88 cents at Walmart. They would be a whole lot more reliable than asking strangers on the Internet. Luckily, I have my uterus goggles on.

You realize that doesn't make sense, right? I assume you mean it's later than it was when you were on birth control. That's because you are no longer on birth control pills.

Ditto to what's been said. Lurk here and educate yourself about your body. Fertility Friend is a good place to start.

You'd think the bgs would learn they may win a couple battles banning out regs but the tone of the bump just doesn't change. New people come here looking for community, snark , and science. Or they do after they get annoyed. Bgs you are losing the war on glitter farts. Science will prevail

As someone who has been the victim of ACTUAL bullying, I'm highly offended that you would throw that word around so lightly. You need to look up the definition of bullying. This doesn't even come close. Telling someone the truth bluntly does NOT equal bullying.

And the truth is that OP should go POAS. Telling OP that is helpful, because it could save her days of symptom spotting and driving herself crazy. Telling her "OMG, I bet you're totally pregnant! Sore boobs means you're KU!" just sets her up for even more disappointment if AF shows up. THAT would be cruel.
