Re: 6/25 symptom thread

  • Omg the crazy dreams have begun. Two nights in a row of random super vivid dreams.

  • Just exhaustion, exhaustion and more exhaustion. I went to bed before anyone in my house last night at 8 because I was so tired it made me irritable and I almost bite my oldest sons head off for hitting me in the face with a bouncy ball. No lie. I feel better this am but I can feel the sleepiness creeping in. Im a walking Mombie!

My hips are expanding - ew....all clothes feel tight, im bloated as all hell and i only crave greasy hangover food!  And yes, nausea and exhaustion are a regular part of my day too.  I doze off at my desk most afternoons...lol.  I'm also a cranky wench...my poor 12 yr old daughter has her own hormone issues to deal with, now shes dealing with mine too.  UGH....come on 2nd trimester :)

  • I'm currently 5w4d and am slightly freaking out because I'm not experiencing really any symptoms. I feel like I'm more tired than usual, but other than that...nothing! Anyone else?

Still exhausted all the time. I woke up today with huge swollen glands around my neck. I want to blame that on pregnancy too.
  • So exhausted. Nausea has returned. Gas/bloat. Sore boobs. Feeling moody and anxious.
  • Solid food and I ARE NOT friends. Looks like I'll be drinking my nutrients for a while...

This nausea is maddening; I just want to cry when it's at its worst. Just grateful it's most torturous at night and I'm not vomiting at work (knock on wood). I don't want to wish it away at all, but it's scary to think I might be incapacitated for the next six weeks. Wasn't prepared for that somehow.
And so damn itchy! Breasts and spine, especially.
    And the vivid dreams. Wacky.
And so effing tired. And and and...

    Warning: major whine

I sometimes just want to give up. This SUUUUUCKS! I know we were TTC, I know I'm very lucky to even be ABLE to complain, I've been pregnant before, I even know what the end result will be! To the ladies with more than one already - how.are.you.still.functioning? Dealing with morning sickness, hormone swings AND a 17month old!?!?!? The cramping, the bloating, the muscle weakness...AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

(Thanks for letting me whine. I'm excited about a tiny, squishy, pooping, naaa-naaaa-ing, lovable, little minion! Just getting there...? Not so much.)

Honestly, I'm only getting by because I work full time and DH helps out a lot.

Somedays I'm honestly not sure if I will make it through the day with my 21 month old. I definitely feel bad that she is having to deal with a Mama who feels like this all the time. The TV has been on a lot more then I'd like, which makes me feel really guilty, but I also keep reminding myself it's just temporary and that this is survival mode til 2nd trimester. I also try to do things I know she enjoys when I'm feeling up to it and also after DH is home from work we try to do things together, like go for a walk or the playground (there I can sit on a bench and snack while watching DH and DD). Like you said, the end result is worth it and just keep reminding yourself of that and don't be too hard on yourself!

I was the closest I've been to actually throwing up so far on my drive to the OB office this morning. The nausea has been bad but hasn't gone as far as getting sick yet.

And now the nausea has passed and I want all the food. All of it. For lunch.

Luckily I still have a whole bottle of mouth wash, mints, ginger candies, etc. stashed in my desk from last time. Including a spare pair of yoga pants in case my water broke at work.

  • Weird dreams, toss and turn all night even though I'm tired and the nauseeeaaaaa oh the nauseeeeaaaaa  :-&
  • Nothing really today, just tired and moody. I'm pretty sure some of the folks from some of my conference calls I was on wanted to hang up on me X(
  • Today just exhausted and still noticing this sensation that feels like watery discharge. Nothing comes out but it feels like it. I called my doctor about it just to see why I am feeling this. Also I have noticed some itching like my skin is starting to stretch. 8weeks 1day.

So crazy tired. And mood swings for DAYS. We are going to the the movie Max tonight. I'll probably ugly cry haha.
  • I cry over EVERYTHING. I'm already a crier but now it's just ridiculous. I cried over a stupid grocery store commercial today.
And of course the exhaustion is not helping that.
And my boobs are tingly and feeling tight. I feel like I need to nurse and I quit BFing 2.5 years ago. Very uncomfortable.

I though it would be awesome to be really pregnant in the few months of cold here. Only thing I didn't realize is that meant at least 2 months being sick with all 3 kids home ALL DAY! Ack! Although today I discovered that the whole fruit frozen pops I got on coupon at Costco are heaven. Sweet but not too sweet and the cold is pure joy. One thing that hasn't made me super nauseous.

  • Exhausted. Bloated. Crying during OITNB. Stand in the middle of the room for 6 minutes wondering why I'm there.

    image
  • I can't even describe the exhaustion and insane uncomfortable bloating! Gagging is not fun! But lucky not too much nausea. I'll have to get those popsicles from costco! I'm surviving on miso soup and ice cream&fruit bars from trader joes daily! Once i have that in my system i can eat a solid meal
  • This headache, I'm so tired. Working all day and then I have a 1 year old. Wish so could be here to help bc by the time I get home, I'm ready for bed but there are dishes to do and laundry and whatever else has to be done. Restless leg!!! Omg. I don't remember how far along I was with dd when it started, but this time it's started already :/ and the random bloody nose...fabulous.
  • My husband just laughs at my brain fogginess.  Seems to come and go but when it hits, it feels like my brain cells just flew out the window.  I sleep... a lot and I have some pretty sweet cleavage (even though it hurts).  The boobage is new for me since I'm a small B.  I guess I'll just see that as a bonus for now until the nausea sets in.  No morning sickness yet but I'll count my blessings since I'm sure it will be here before I know it.
And yes, kudos to all of you doing this will small kids!
