I feel like it's way too early but last night when I laid down to bed I got a bunch of fluttery feeling in my lower abdomen that felt a lot different then gas. Time will tell if they continue or if I was just mistaken lol, there have been a bunch of threads about this earlier but now since I'm past 15 weeks I'm wondering if what I felt might be real? We'll see!
This is my 2nd pregnancy & i could have sworn i felt baby move for the first time when I laid in bed last night! I'm 14w2d today and on the Ovia app it said that baby can now bend his/her elbows and knees, so maybe baby started doing that as well as somersaults? During my scan at exactly 13w baby was so active they just about managed to get a photo of him/her being still for me to take home, so it seems it's always been an active baby but only gettin big enough now for me to feel! Amazing!
I know I felt baby last night at 15w2d. Though I thought I'd been feeling he/she for a few weeks here and there but I'm not 100% sure. This will be baby #2 for us.
I swear I felt something last night...I'm 16 weeks today and felt this strange flutter when I was laying on my side. We have a pretty active little guy in there! Saw him on ultrasound twice this week and he loves to kick his legs and throw his arms around. The ultrasound tech was even laughing at how active he was! Funny now...maybe not so funny at 9 months!
I am 14w3d! Baby has been so active lately! But yesterday maybe once or twice. What I feel is a little flutter in the lower abdomen as well. Definitely different than gas! lol And this is baby #1 for us!
I'm 12 weeks and had the strangest feeling in my pelvic area! I'm sure it was probably just stuff shifting around or gas, but if that's the case it was the coolest feeling gas. Lol!
That's so exciting for you all that are feeling baby!
I have felt flutters and some more definite bumps the last three days. I'm 15 weeks 4 days and this is my second baby! The movements are very inconsistent, but reassuring when they happen. I don't freak out when it has been a while since feeling anything since baby is still really small.
I'm 13 weeks today and felt the little flutters some people are talking about a few days ago ... however, I also felt similar flutters around week eight at that early it definitely was not baby ... so I'm assuming what I felt was either uterus expanding or gas or something. Nothing difinitive yet.
I'll be 16 weeks on Friday and I've been feeling something like a hand being brushed across my tummy but from the inside. Not sure what to make of it at this point because even this is supposedly still too early. We'll see.
Hi, I just wanted to say that my doctor told me i may be able to start feeling movement around 20 weeks, but today at my ultrasound they said the placenta is on top of the baby, like a blanket, so i probably will not feel it move from the outside (like DH will not feel anything) for a very long time if ever. Just FYI incase anyone else is experiencing that.
I'm 16w5d and I really think I've been feeling flutters. They always seem to stay in the same place, unlike gas in the past. I'm hoping I'm right because feeling the baby move gives me some peace of mind since we had a scare at 14w.
Yes, second baby and I'm 16 weeks but definitely feeling baby flutters! I notice if I lay still and drink something cold the feeling is more predictable, so fun!
I'm almost 19 weeks and I'm not really sure if I've felt anything. I assume it'll happen somewhere between the standard 20-22 weeks and I'll know for sure then.
Can anybody shed light on the difference between baby movement and gas/bubbles/shifting?
I have always had an *ahem* active stomach (meaning that food likes to dance around my belly all the time). I was sitting here reading this thread and was experiencing what felt like normal bubbles for my digestive system, but then I wondered if it could be baby. I am 15w3d, so it is still pretty early for me, so it might just be normal digestive feelings, but thought I'd see if anybody could provide descriptions more concrete than "flutters"....?
90% of the time I am convinced that I am not even pregnant. The other 10% I have not what I would describe as "feeling movement" but, just an acute knowledge of something going on in there. Like when you have had too much water and your stomach sloshes around. I am almost 15wks with my third.
I have been feeling the baby move for the past week now. I noticed it for the first time when I finally gave in and had a cup of coffee. Thought it might have just been the coffee but been happening every morning since then. It makes me feel really pregnant... if that makes any sense.
I started with this one (my first that I've carried past 1st trimester) at 15w5d, I'm now 17w3d and it pretty regular, even felt what I think is hiccups, but doctor stated I have an extremely hyper baby, and that even she was amused by how much baby was moving. However cutest thing ever is as soon as SO tells baby good night and kisses my belly, lo stops moving for at least a half hour so I can fall asleep, once I'm asleep I'm like the dead.

@CMDD that's how it was for me w DS. And I had a tilted uterus. But we did feel it outside... So there's hope. It didn't look like those crazy videos or anything but you would be able to get bumped. I think it was around 25-27 weeks for dh to feel anything.
I am 16 weeks and 4 days. I have been feeling movement every once in a while for a couple weeks now. This is my 4th baby so I can tell the difference between gas and flutters.
I am having my first and I will be 17 weeks tomorrow. I laid down to sleep last week and felt flutters. I still occasionally get sharp pains throughout the day. Yesterday I stood up from eating an afternoon snack and it felt like he or she was slipping and sliding around in there, weird feeling. For me the whole feeling of pregnancy is strange. I wouldn't change it, but it weirds me out sometimes,
I THINK I did last night in bed. I'm 16w2d and as hubs was passing out I joked that it would be "so sweet" if I had him trying to feel it and then it turned out to be gas. He laughed and drifted off. No gas. So...baby...?
Felt like popcorn popping in the same spot on and off for a few minutes. Then nothing. Patiently (not!) waiting to see if it happens again today!
I think I'm finally legitimately feeling something as of last night and right this second (16 weeks 4 days). It feels like tapping or popping, almost like a gas bubble but ever so slightly different. I totally understand how you could mix up the two if you're not paying attention, it's so similar. This is incredible. :x
I'm 16+2 with my 4th and can't feel a thing! I have no idea how people tell the difference between early flutters and bowel related bubbles either, it's all going on in the same area! I'm really looking forward to those big kicks and hiccups! It'll be so good to know he's ok every day! X
I haven't felt anything but my doctor said that I probably won't until week 20-24 due to the way the placenta is placed. I had a sonogram and the little one is moving it's legs and waving its little hand. So I am not too worried that at week 13 I am not feeling anything.
I am very sure that I am feeling it now. My ob used the doppler today and she said "those thuds are movement" and they correspondedwith little tiny bumps I felt inside.
I saw baby moving around like crazy during an us yesterday. It's hard to believe that I can't feel anything the way it was moving! I'm 13 w 3d, can't wait to feel my little jelly bean!
This is baby #2 it seems like my stomach area is more sensitive... I've had feel sense 9 weeks maybe impossible but I swear. I'm 17 weeks today and I feel my baby go from the right side to the middle all the time!!! Love it , Love it, Love It♡
I think I have but it's really too light to be positive. I think I'm pretty good at knowing when it's gas, but lately I'll get little popping sensations and flutters and I sorta think it's the baby, but it's not solid enough yet for me to be able to definitely say that I'm 100% confident that it's baby. I'm 16 weeks today
I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow and started feeling slight flutters about a week ago but now I'm feeling popping like crazy. It's been around the same times the last 2 days : )
15 weeks with #2. I started feeling flutters last week, but they're getting stronger and more noticeable. I usually feel it when I lay down to go to bed, but have felt some this morning!

That dang movie had me holding my breath, jumping, and screaming! My poor baby was probably freaking out in there! Lol
