This may not be a UO, but once these women who are incapable of reading a book on pregnancy, utilizing reputable internet resources for information or trusting their health care providers become parents what the hell are they going to do?
Seriously, if their child has something go wrong and they will how are they going to react? Are they going to turn to a bunch of strangers? When a child has a fever in the middle of the night and no one is awake to answer their questions what the hell are they going to do? Are they just going to let their child deal with it until someone on their preferred forum wakes up and tells them what to do? Finding information is an important life skill that it seems far, far too many mothers to be are incapable of handling.
Can we not create a 'stupid post' thread where all the guess the sex posts, I can't work out if I'm clogged up to back knackers with wind or my baby is moving, and obnoxious posters who refuse to use the search function, can post their repetitive thread.
Everyone's entitled to an opinion, sure. But not if your opinion has been discussed a million and one times. Or is just plain stupid. I'm bored.
If it makes you feel any better, the thread titled "Boy or Girl?!" is actually about food. It might just make you hungry though.
This makes me feel a lot better. There's hope after all. Food is love.

Yes! And if you don't trust your health care provider why are you still seeing them?
I really thought this board would be settled down and established by now. Well, I was wrong. I definitely got the short end of the stick with the majority of these characters. Le sigh.
Also, Not one of the people posting these (that I have seen) has more than 10 points. Not saying that to be like, "oh I have more points than you". But they haven't contributed jack to anything and they just fly in posting all willy nilly, wanting other people to do their research for them. In reality, that's what's rude. Not us. Being so self consumed that you assume, "I know I haven't contributed to this community/support line (whatever) in even the smallest way since March but I am going to post whatever pops in my head and everyone better be super helpful or I am going to cry and get all butt hurt.

Edited: Major Quote failure.
Totally checked my points...haha!
Does anyone else need to go outside and get a breather because I feel like my filter is about to be nonexistent.
Buh. This board's gone to hell. The Special Snowflake Syndrome is strong.
And my UO is if these moms already think they're holier than thou and refuse to do their own research, follow guidelines, and just give a hoot about other people I shudder to think about how their kids will turn out.
lol. I really should have stuck to my guns about being around a bit less.
Ugh this for me. It got to the point last week where DH would see me on my phone and say "you on the bump?". Well we took a mini vacation for a few days and despite getting sick on the trip, I felt so refreshed and relaxed! I came here today thinking I might have missed some fun/amusing threads in my time "away" from N15 and have only found myself getting increasingly frustrated with some of these absurd, redundant, AW posts. How is N15 not passed this yet... "Could my trained U/S tech be wrong cause I have a feeling" Exhausting.
It really is exhausting. I am a FTM, so it's not like I know a ton but use some common sense people, please!!! If I didn't love my own head, I would be inclined to bang it against the wall.
The name threads are my weekly entertainment. Does anyone sit down and think, "Can my kid go to Harvard with this name?" I know your kid may not want to go, but at the same time you're seriously limiting their future when you give them an out there name that is either made up or not intended for naming purposes.
This a zillion times! Everyone I know that I've told the LO's name to...they've all said how nice and normal it is. I'm sorry isn't that the point? I don't want my child growing up and being pissed at me for naming him something horrible. I tried to think how it would look on a resume or application when he was older. My sister even asked if we were spelling it "differently". UM no. He will have name with a "traditional" spelling. No craziness allowed. We have enough of that in the family already. )
My favorite is that when you tell them, honestly, that Sir'Kase Reignz is not going to get hired by your company, and they retort with "then you're mean and I wouldn't want him to work for you anyway!" Because it's so hard for me to find qualified people to represent my company. I don't want my receptionist to be called Raynebow Brite!
My UO is why the heck does no one make maternity running shorts?! I can't keep sagging my regular running shorts down because it chafes, but all the pregnancy workout stuff is cotton (works so well in Arkansas summers) and Capri length or longer. Grrrr...I thought we were encouraged to be active!

I think by active they mean horizontally on a couch eating Doritos and tacos and ice cream.. Lol but I like the maternity capris.. They are actually quite comfy..

I'm just mostly lurking today (possibly looking for some drama, but mostly lurking) so I have no real fun ones to add. However, pineapple pedialyte is effing delicious.
Also that Urgent Care centers are the absolute best thing ever.

My UO (which I assume it's UO cuz everyone complains) is that I love the smart ass comments some of the women on this board give. I laughed myself to tears on the "boy or girl" post when someone said "congratulations u have a nose" lmao and sometimes I find myself scrolling down looking for Ms Judge Judy to make her appearance lol I get some women want support etc. but sometimes I wonder if people r just posting things cuz they are bored

Good lord I agree with the no maternity shorts. I need some nike maternity running shorts to wear while I sit on the couch and eat Doritos.
Also lululemon is still comfortable in the shorts department. I splurged on one larger size to wear during the hell hole that will be summer in the high dessert. 110 this weekend... Stoked.

Uh oh. Sounds like you were dehydrated! Feeling better?
I'm too lazy to go back and quote the pp about trusting their medical professionals or moving on, but for reals, all the questioning technology??
Get in your dang DeLorean, crank the dial to 2015, and join the rest of us!!
Maybe we'll get lucky and have self-adjusting clothes sizes by October. No need to worry about where to buy maternity stuff when that happens!
My UO has been that I actually kind of like the tummy pats and rubs I've been getting from friends and family. I'm sure with a stranger it would be different but for now I'll just enjoy it.

I don't mind them either, as long as they are from someone I know (and like). The first stranger that touches me might get a hand slap though.
So with my first I was changeing my gel mani and pedi weekly. Did it myself. 2 w before i've gone into labor I did my amazing super complicated pedi. It took me 3 m (and i'm on leave!) To put some simple polish on my toes....my fingernails on the other hand....can just dream about polish. Still feeling exhausted . And my big UO is that I found a thread in which someone actually attacked @VexyMommy . That made my blood boile a bit. And funny but weird is that my baby thinks that jumping on my bladder is a national womb sport. He is such a fun guy already )
My UO: that I actually read each comment on this thread. Also, I do not find my points or anyone else's to be of any importance, not yet at least. *shoulder shrug*

The only time I ever care about points is when someone has only been on the board for a hot second and wants to get a little crazy. That and when someone says that people giving them honest answers are mean or attacking them it's at that point that I bring up the fact that I've had over 1700 replies and yet to be a total a$$face (personal opinion obviously).
My UO is that a hate fake cheese and I have no desire to eat a walking taco. I also don't like taco bell. Oh and I don't like doritos. Cheetos and Mcdonald for me.

And I so enjoyed my McDonalds fries and regular cheeseburger today.

I 100% hate Taco Bell, I make my husband get my mcdonalds if he decides he wants Taco Bell. But I do love Doritos and have craved them regularly for the last two weeks.
