We are shopping for a used car and since we need space for 3 car seats we're finding our money isn't going nearly as far as we thought it would. Minivans are expensive!
Anyway we had a horrible experience at a dealership Saturday with a jerky salesman and we have an appointment with a place tomorrow - over the phone this guy kind of sounds abrasive too. He seemed annoyed with me for contacting them about two of their cars, and I had asked if we could come today (they are open and DH has a half day) and he said it's not a good time... We have cash and want to buy one of their cars, it seems crazy to me. Unfortunately we are finding very little in our budget so here's hoping he's just bad on the phone.

That sucks!! Could the dog have a UTI or something? Or is it a normal thing for him? I have one cat that is prone to UTI's and I know to take her in if she starts going a lot. However, my other cat is perfectly healthy, but likes to play in the litter box and get litter all over my bathroom floor. He'll dig for hours if I let him, it's the biggest joy in his life. Whether health-related or not, it's no fun lol.
I'm trying to coordinate the plane flight when my mom will be here after baby is born, and she's insisting on us footing the bill for an airport pickup instead of letting DH pick her up. The last thing we need is unnecessary expenses esp since we live far from the airport.. wondering if she forgot what it was like starting out with a new baby, new house, and 1 income? Each week it seems like she has another "must have" monetary request and expecting it to be taken care of before she arrives.
Anyway, I have to lay down the ground rules which is not fun... especially with my own folks. When my mom doesn't get her way I get a combination of silent treatment, temper tantrum, or going down guilt trip lane. It sucks being firm and just waiting it out, and trying to not get into the trap of arguing. Been working on just saying this is what it is.. hope you're happy with it, and we get to decide since we're the hosts. We really don't need "help" and I'm trying to give the out of state grandparents a special time with their first grandbaby.
To my mom. All she ever does is bitch and complain about my dad (they're still married), and I get really sick of hearing it. Also, don't complain about the curtains I want for MY baby's nursery, and don't fucking say "she's not a dog" just because the room doesn't have the curtains yet. Ugh!!! X(
My step mom our relationship was rocky growing up but we are fine now. So last night we are having dinner for Father's Day. For the record My step mom has said repeatedly that all her pregnancies were easy no morning sickness heart burn or anything. So last night she keeps telling me like she has since the beginning of my pregnancy " oh it will get better" and goes on and on about it.
Last night i lost it. I'm sorry it's not going to get better in fact it will prob get worse. And I'm okay with that. But honestly I'm sick and tired of everyone trying to make me admit that I love being pregnant and all these symptoms will go away. Ya it will when she is born in two months. Never once did I say it's not worth it but after 8 months of throwing up, ER visits, not sleeping, peeing all the time, the back and body aches, and now heart burn. Just shut the hell up and say she will be here soon.

No I have taken her to the vet twice recently. She just likes to sniff around and bark at the neighbors. Pee four drops here and 4 drops there. Half a poop now the other half 20 min from now.

@Saratiff I hear ya on that one! I'm tired and uncomfortable and don't need the added guilt people try to put on you for not just loving every moment of this pregnancy! Of course it's all worth it, and we're super blessed to be pregnant, but that doesn't mean we have to love every second or obnoxious symptom!
My bitchfest goes out to this gloomy-ass weather. We've had so much rain lately and the rainy, cloudy gloom is giving me zero motivation! Our house is a disaster and I have so much laundry to do, but all I feel like doing is cuddling up on the couch with my little one and watching a movie!
I was trying to be a good mom and actually get my kids out of the house today. I got up early, got done what needed to get done (laundry, dishes etc). We get out back for about 3 minutes before they are crying to go inside. They don't want to do anything. We have swing set, trampoline, a huge yard with tons of bats and balls and bubbles, anything you can think of. They just want to come in. Fine.
So I bring them in and the two year old bites my butt HARD for literally no reason at all. Off to timeout he goes. He's a tantrum thrower in time out so I had to listen to that for about 20 minutes. Every time I try to go in to talk to him he just starts all over.

UGH it is SO frustrating when you try to do something nice for toddlers and they want no part of it! I feel like this is the case a lot in our house lately. It's hot. My toddler has been so so so naughty and I need a break. But since I'm a SAHM with a (wonderful! Not complaining about DH) DH that works 50 hours+ a week and my crap car broke down again I don't see a break insight. We have to start saving for a trip 2500 miles away next year so DH can be in my BIL's wedding. It's hot. I hurt all over all the time and feel like I can't get anything done in this chaotic mess of a house.

My PCP made me come in today to check my Tdap site since I am still having so much trouble. The PA spent 90 seconds in the room with me, told me to do everything I have already been doing and then still charged me my $20 copay. I would have been better off just waiting until I go for my 33 week appt tomorrow.

My toddler who every single morning has a meltdown about what she wants to wear...seriously, 30 minutes of screaming and crying is NOT worth it! At this point, I'm done and she can go naked to school for all I care.
The drive down I10 this morning and all the stupid people who can't drive. I was cut off 3 times and each time the jackasses just slammed on their brakes once in front of me. I'm doing above the speed limit because I'm already late to the doc (see above about toddler), and I'm driving in the middle lane because I know there are people speeding more than me and I was taught to drive safely! Then, I'm behind a truck with his blinker on for 6 exits. By the time my exit gets close, I go around him into the exit lane and he honks and flips me off. Seriously, WTF dude??
My job and my boss and my co-workers and the nosey bitches down the hall! They can all kiss my ass! The nosey biatches down the hall called my boss and pointed out that I made one screw up on my timesheet (in 7yrs) and you act like I've committed a sin and was purposely trying to defraud the system. Seriously?? It was and hour and a half that I put down when I actually didn't make it back...because I was in the hospital and didn't come back until this afternoon. Get a flipping grip! My boss because I got my ass chewed for calling a supervisor who disregarded himself from a call because he didn't realize the patient was one of our employees responding to another call. I politely informed the supervisor who had no idea, and was gracious...but my boss chews my ass for it! My co-worker because she is just being snooty and crotchety today! I'm so done with this day and all these people!!

Mine is about our new Associate Director of Technology in our office. The team of 7 I'm on at work all got Surface Pros as our new computers because there will be a lot of time this coming academic year that we'll have to work from home. This woman is freaking clueless when it comes to technology. My DH came to visit me at work a few weeks ago, and helped me get stuff set up that I'd been waiting weeks for, and told me I need an adapter to hook the dock to the monitor. So I showed her and asked her to order an adapter so I can just have one computer, not a computer and a laptop, as was the original plan. This was a few weeks ago. Today, I overheard her talking to my coworker, asking why we'd need the adapter. Again, he shows her and she's completely confused. This woman has no business being in charge of technology.
My husband and BIL decided to get drunk for father's day yesterday and have a fist fight in my front yard! So I'm pissed at both of them. Especially my husband who said I didn't back him up. Then my BIL cornered me and said some pretty gross things about how he has "wanted" me for 3 years now. I told him he better back the f off! I can't tell my husband bc he's still being a douche and I don't want him in jail for assaulting his brother! He made my day absolute hell and wants to continue it today bc I didn't "fix" his father's day. He also didn't bother to ask how my appt went today(thankfully they decided to keep her cooking longer). He doesn't even know they sent me to l&d again. He's a stubborn ass!
Thanks McDonald's for ruining the one cup of coffee I allow myself to have in the morning. I ask for black coffee, and when I take a drink it's full of nasty cream! I almost had to pull over and vomit on the side of the road. Eww.
One more super bitchy one... I'm so over all the "I think baby is going to come early because such and such..." The only 100% reason baby is going to come early is if you are either being induced early or have a planned csection. These type of comments irk me because a) I would have gladly been pregnant 40, 41, 42+ weeks if that meant DS and DD1 wouldn't have had medical issues due to being early and b) you are setting yourself up for uneccessary hardship/disappointment. Don't come complaining here when you hit your due date or *gasp* go past it and are miserable because you thought you'd have baby early. Okay, I'm done bitching. I just couldn't hold it back anymore.
@breezymeema7 so over these new posts/posters already [-( They don't read the board and ask really vague annoying questions. I love this board but I don't know how I'm going to make it through July let alone August with all of this. Guess what a head down baby doesn't equal early labor!!
