Second Trimester Ultrasounds Sharing Time

There are a few different ways to calculate when pregnancy trimesters begin and end, so I just decided to go with the good 'ol Development version. This goes by babies development (LMP to 12 weeks, 12 weeks to 27 weeks, and 27 weeks to birth). I know a bunch of us are still hanging out in first trimester, but according to my amazing math skills there are a few that should be sneaking up on 12 weeks real soon, so that's what this discussion is for.

Please share your cute second trimester ultrasounds below. Can't wait to see them!

Oh man! Going by the 12 week rule I'm only 8 days away, but I just had my second ultrasound yesterday! I won't have a second trimester one for another 4 weeks.

This one was done on my abdomen though, not transvaginal, and the pictures are so blurry. I was disappointed because I wanted to frame one for DH for Father's Day!

Omg this is so exciting. Can't believe we are already at the 2nd tri point. Tomorrow is my next u/s and I will be 11+6 so close enough

We had an ultrasound at 11wk 4days this week but the tech wasn't the greatest and the photos were a bit blurry. BUT I had a check up a couple days earlier and they couldn't find the heartbeat so I got a quick ultrasound (yes- minor panic moment). The tech was awesome & even gave us a 3D photo!

Tuesday I will be 12 weeks 1 day and I have an appt that day. Hopefully will get an ultrasound! And also that my ms will go away since I'll be in second tri by then!

I had my first u/s at 8 + 5 and won't have another one until 20 weeks

I don't think we have another ultrasound until 20 weeks when we find out gender! Can't wait to see how everyone's "aliens" are growing into babies! Excited to share mine too.

This was from my NT scan today. Baby is very healthy and doing great!!! I am 11w 1d but the baby is measuring 11w 5 days. The baby was measuring 4 days bigger at my 8 week ultra sound as well.

Our scan today was great! Pic is a little blurry but we got to see our little bub, with a heart rate of 144. We are so in love

I'm 11+6 today but baby is measuring one day ahead at 12 weeks exactly

My due date is dec28th and I am 12wks4days but I thought the 2nd trimester starts at 13wks :-/

My due date is Jan 28 and I'm a month away from 12 weeks ultrasound, so everyone should be having theirs in the next month or so (unless they have to wait till 20!). I can't wait to see everyone's bigger babies! First tri looks like blobs, these little guys look a bit more human.

It's so crazy! My best friend is due on the 24th of January and our babies look so different from each other right now!

@claireloSC So true, I'm so jealous of the ladies expecting at the beginning of the month! Here I am with a blob, just waiting for for it to even be called a fetus, and they are already starting to enter the 2nd trimester!!

July 3rd is our 12 wks u/s! Can't wait!! It still doesn't feel real at ALL, and we haven't gotten to hear the hb yet so hoping all goes well :-)

Thursday is my next US at 12w3d. We're also doing our genetic testing then...fingers crossed! We plan to tell the rest of our family and friends after this appointment once we hear the heartbeat. So excited!!

I had an appointment on Thursday, second ultrasound, was 11w3d and baby was measuring 12w. Baby was moving all around and dancing and then stood up and doctor got a pic. We have nicknamed the baby dinosaur
: ) In another pic baby was looking right at camera. The whole thing was so amazing! Firs time I've really cried so many tears of joy! Can't wait for all you ladies to see your babies at this stage! Looks more like a human ; )

Here are my identical twins at 12 weeks 1day. They are both measuring 12w6d and have heartrates of 154. Baby A is using baby Bs belly as a pillow. Lol
