Humidity is too much!!!

Is anyone else having a hard time handling the humidity? I feel sticky and gross all the time. I don't want to go outside if I don't have to. I feel bad because my 3 yr old son wants to play outside all the time, but I try to find indoor activities for him instead. :(

    Get one of the cheap plastic pools to set your chair in in the back yard.  In general I would prefer to stay in our AC but I try to take my boys out in the afternoon because it wears them out and they release all their energy.  DS1 only has one more week of school then I am hoping to get outside earlier in the day before it gets so humid most of the time or take them my moms pool for the day a couple times a week.  But for now the plastic pool, or playing squirt guns with them and eating popsicles have been my go to.

    Humidity was the toughest for me when I was pregnant with DD. She was born at the end of August, so I was big in some of the worst of it. I totally hear what you're saying!! @bbiutmcph had a great suggestion about the kiddie pool. Getting your feet or part of your body at least into some water can really help regulate your body temp in the yucky stuff!

    I'm feeling the same way, and my six year old son is not happy about it! We're going through a heat blast, and the humidity has been insane. It's really not fun feeling like you have to swim through the air. 

    I've been going through popsicles at an alarming rate, taking multiple showers a day, and wearing the loosest clothes possible, which all help a bit. The kiddy pool thing is an excellent idea!

    It's killer. The pool is warm too.i told the office it was too hot to swim in and they said they'd see about adding water in until it rains on the regular or cools down. I'm in an apartment and we aren't allowed to have sprinklers or anything like that. My kids are driving me insane and if we go out we all become miserable.

    I'm swelling from it. I hate it, I hate saying things like I miss the cold but right now, I miss the cold :(
