  • Pasta :) haha boil the noodles and package them into sandwhich baggies, take them out and it's the perfect meal portion :) casserole...breakfast burritos and even not freezing meals might be good. Like 3 ingredient meals? Fruit, yogurt and toast can make a nice one person fruit pizza. Vegetable, and cheese with a baked potato...I'm sure there are a lot of easy to make meals :D

  • Yes, soups, chili, lots of crock pot meals, casseroles, stir fry, red beans, white beans, pastas, etc. We just double and triple recipes and divide them into family portions and pop them in the freezer. If you search freezer meals on Pintrest or even just google it you can get endless ideas.

  • Agree with PP that Pinterest was a big help! I've heard to be weary of tomato based sauces so don't make everything with that as it apparently could cause reflux for baby if you are breast feeding.

@AziaNick good call on the breakfast burritos! I'll have to make a few of those to throw in the freezer

I'm not gonna do it but you can freeze lasagna, enchiladas (you just freeze the salsa in a different container), stew, hamburger patties, Turkey, spaghetti bolognesa, etc.
  • Thanks ladies, pretty much the same ideas I had just looking for suggestions. good call on Pinterest I haven't used it forever cause I can't get into my account but I'll just make a new one :-) good luck to everyone!
  • My mom and sisters are making them for us and they are making, chicken wild rice soup, lasagna, baked ziti, Tator tot hot dish, chili, and goulash. Yes, I am very thankful for them :)
  • We are doing, spaghetti sauces, lasagna, chilli, hamburger patties, soup, and that's about it, my hubby is the cook in our little family and is also a butcher and he loves doing it so other then the first couple of weeks were not too concerned as it will be his little escape :p

Jimmy Johns delivers so.... I'm not gonna stock my freezer.
Just kidding. These all sound amazing.
  • I'll be staying with my parents for a few weeks, so this was one less thing for me to worry about! :D
