@heron422 I am so looking forward to an extra hour or two of sleep!

Last night I went to bed nauseous and I woke up nauseous. I have some cramping but nothing as bad as I had on Monday. Completely exhausted too. So looking forward to the "energy boost" everyone talks about in the 2nd trimester.

  • Loading the player...
  • 8w2d - so tired, nauseous and have Diarrhea. Anyone else have diarrhea? It makes you feel even grosser than you did without it. I almost didn't make it to the bathroom yesterday!
  • 9+5. Boobs for days. The end.

We're having a family get together on Sunday to celebrate Father's day. I'm probably going to cook something crazy for my husband and have DD make him a cute card. Little kids homemade cards, really save on card purchases (and Christmas gifts.  ;) )

  • Tired, tired, tired, although that's partially because I couldn't sleep last night and had to wake up early for my first dr appt and 8 week u/s! Feeling better about things now that I got the thumbs up that everything looks healthy with baby. But I think I'll take a nap before I have to go get an oil change.

My dad deserted us to go sailing in Maryland this weekend, and my husband is leaving Sunday night for a business trip, so we're not celebrating Father's Day until next Sunday...and Monday is even my dad's birthday too, and we really wanted to announce that we're pregnant on Father's Day, especially since we just had the u/s and are put at ease, but he chose sailing over us, so he'll just have to wait an extra week to find out, haha.

@snharring I did early on, it really sucked. Now I only go once a week...not sure which is worse.

@CaraBoonie Where in MD? Maybe I can put a sign up on the bridge by me and he'll see it hahaa

  • @Heron422 I believe they sail out of Rock Hall. Where in MD are you? I went to college in Baltimore, and got married down there too (we live up in CT now, my parents are in NJ) so I do hold a soft spot for MD...even if it's stealing my father for the weekend, haha.

  • I think I have a stomach bug.
Vomiting and diarrhea (sorry tmi) last night. Haven't ate much. Wondering if I should call my doctor or just wait it out?
My MS hasn't been near as bad as this so I don't think that's why I'm throwing up.

Hopefully I feel up to doing something this weekend!
  • 11 Wks feeling the uterus stretch pains.. But I'm happy to be pregnant and baby growing well.. I'm going to take my boyfriend for a massage and out to dinner! Oh and give him nookie anyway he wants it...
  • Nausea has slowly started going away. I still cant eat very well, carbs carbs carbs. Very little veggies and fruit. Ive had a headach the past few days which I don't usually get. Was lightheaded a few times last week, I almost fainted one day. Has anyone else had that? I'm thinking (hoping) it was because I hadnt eaten much yet that day and the office I worked in was hot. I go to my dr for my 12 week appt next week so we will see what she says.

  • @Heron422 My cousin went there too! I toured but it was too big for me, like a small city of 20-somethings, it was overwhelming, haha. Coming from a graduating class of 90 kids, I needed something smaller...my cousin was born and bred in NYC so she loved it!

  • 11w5d. Nausea is fading but still there a little my meds keep it non existent though :)! So thank goodness for that. Constipated... Boobs are better and cramping a couple times a day.

No plans for the weekend. No father here both mommies to be! Partner works all weekend also so I'm home alone with the kitty cat.
  • I love the small town now, but back then, CP was so much fun! Lots and lots of parties @-)

Now I'm an old fuddy duddy with my DH <3

  • @3820204 going through the same thing right now.. I have been vomiting all day and night and I can't keep any food down. If it continues I may go to the hospital because I'm out of options.
  • 8w5d. Exhausted. Zombie exhausted. And the bloat...good God, the bloat! I wasn't this bloated with DS. My pants are already tight, which didn't happen with him til 13 weeks or so. Blah.

Keeping it simple this weekend with a cookout and relaxing.

    DD 12/20/99, DS 12/14/12, M/C 9/2014, M/C 1/2015

  • 10 w 5 d - BLOAT!! I am starting to get 5% of my energy back - hallelujah.
  • Tired, but nausea is still just night time. Yay! Just hit 11 weeks today and so excited for this next week to go by fast.

Buying some good beer and yummy food for the husband on Sunday… I don't want/like to cook. Ha!

  • Is anyone else experiencing temperature issues? I am either freezing cold or sweating hot. I deal with it all day and night. I feel like I have the flu. I talked to the doctor about being hot and she said that was normal but now I am getting chills and cold. Anyone else?
  • @mommalove2015 Yup. I'll get spells of the chills that feel very flu-like!

  • Feeling crampy.  Trying to tell myself it is just the uterus stretching.  I haven't been as nauseous the past couple days.  I was exhausted today and it hit me like a ton of bricks all at once.  Luckily DD was going down for a nap, so I got one as well.
Still dealing with the bloodhound nose and everything smelling terrible!

  • Anyone else super itchy?? Belly and boobs! I'm lotioning and oil.
  • Same here. My partner an I will probably just go out to eat or I'll cook a big breakfast only because she has work Sunday. She's super excited for Father's Day. Even though I remind her constantly were both mommy. Lol but other than thy I've been feeling a little better. Had a run in with the emergency an they were able to detect the beginning of a uti so I'm just glad they caught it before it got serious.
  • @mommalove2015: Oh yes. It's particularly fun at night when I keep kicking the covers off and then waking up because I'm freezing.

I'm 11w tomorrow! Yay! And we're telling our families this weekend! Double yay!

I went to the Dr yesterday and she said sciatic pain can totally start this early because my pelvis is shifting. So that's exciting... :-P Fortunately I had a chiropractor appt this morning which helped. I go every other week when I'm not pregnant so hopefully that will be enough.

I also got a Unisom prescription. I've been having trouble sleeping in general so I'm hoping that will help that even if it does nothing for the nausea. I'd say the nausea seems to be easing up but every time I think that, I end up puking.
  • The itch... I have eczema so I already itch all the time but just hit 8 weeks and I can't stop itching. I can't sleep at night because I itch.
  • Hmmm I am 9w today. I finally have a fetus! Yay! Not much going on here. I had to get up last night to pee at least 5 times, which has never happened before. My MS has pretty much gone away for now...just some nausea every so often. Boobies are still sore. But they are so veiny now! It looks horrible haha
  • Busy weekend. Today the salon I go to usually to get nails done had this smell to it that made my head hurt. Also extremely exhausted.
  • Easy low-key weekend. Just a lot of nausea and fatigue. I also have been experiencing lower back pain, but I had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and I guess my uterus is tilted back for the time being and until it flips forwards I can expect the pain! It was nice to know why my back hurts but now I seem to notice it even more!
  • Went shopping around 12:30 and got home around 2. I had some mild regular cramping during the trip. I got home and went to the bathroom and bright red blood streaked the toilet paper. I called my partner in and she asked how much. A lot of blood started dripping out, and my heart sank and she cried. I said we needed to go to the er. I put in a pad and we left. The bleeding had subsided by the time we got to the er and they did a abdominal and transvaginal u/s. My partner and I waited patiently for the doctor waiting to hear the worst that the heart beat had stopped. (Pissed and happy) a nurse came in said I could leave with discharge papers I was so confused the doctor hadn't come in and said anything I didn't know If I was miscarrying or not. She handed me papers said I could leave. The papers said I had a viable 11w 4day old fetus with no abnormalities. (So happy the baby was okay) I never saw the doctor and still don't know what caused the gush of blood, but I'm resting for a couple days!
  • So very exhausted. To the point movement is like HARD. Still feeling nauseous, struggled a little but with eating today. Today was also my first day back at work after last weeks not being able to move nausea and vomiting. It is always so hot and I spent a large part of my shift trying not to throw up or pass out. I sat outside on my break to try and sort myself out with some fresh air.
I go between diarreah and constipation. It's annoying. So bloated and gassy and stomach cramps and pains every so often. Oh and sore boobs.
Sadly I am working tomorrow and have a lot of college work to catch up on so it won't be a relaxing weekend :(

Had a really easy day at work, so naturally I'm exhausted. Ahahaha. I'm bleeding this evening, which I think is from having sex this morning, but I'm just really sick of bleeding every time I look at my vag the wrong way (figuratively speaking). My breasts aren't that sore but they seem more cumbersome; I'm aware of their presence more often... like I can feel gravity working on them.

Tomorrow we're going on a train right with my BF and stepson, my parents and his parents. It was going to be the day we tell everyone that I'm pregnant but the bleeding today is really making me second guess that. I haven't had any confirmation that a living being is inside me for a couple weeks now, so I'm starting to second guess everything.
  • 7w5d. So exhausted. I have never been this exhausted with my three previous pregnancies. I'm dealing with a bit of head cold so that's like a double whammy.
I barely have an appetite. My boobs are so sore.
Not sure what we are doing for Father's day but I have to make sure I get the kids to make a card or something tomorrow. Just going to keep it low key this weekend.

Lljbean on the boobs for days. I unhooked my bra for a couple minutes at work because it was digging in so bad. The next size up bra is still too big. Ugh. Wore my smaller bra today cause it looks better and I had a job interview today but I'm wearing the oversized one from now on!

9 weeks. I am just so depressed. Unmotivated. Constantly nauseous, EXCEPT in the mornings when I'm A-ok! Who knew you could have evening sickness? I've never been a morning person - but I guess the baby is.
  • Still have a 99ish low-grade fever that's been persisting for 24 hours now, Tylenol is a joke of a drug, I miss my Advil! I had my 8-week ultrasound this morning (all is good, yay!) and then had an oil change, and after slept from 2-7pm when my husband got home from work and convinced me to go out for pizza...I should have made him just bring it home, I was not feeling well enough to sit up in public, haha. I think I'll probably watch last night's Daily Show and then go to bed early so I have a fighting chance at feeling well enough to get something done tomorrow..

  • 8 weeks and the diarrhea just hit me today. Anyone else? Did you go to the doctor?
  • @jeoberly diarrhea can be a form of morning sickness. If you get to the point of dehydration I would suggest the ER, but for now just try to keep fluids in like pedialite or Gatorade, and munch on some dry crackers :)
